The splendid news comes from Sir Roger Moore, PETA UK's committed celebrity spokesperson, who received the call directly from Selfridges. Moore's unwavering dedication, along with the inspiring passion of PETA UK's campaigners, attracted endless attention on television, in newspapers, and around the Internet—wherever you turned, PETA UK was there, spreading the message to give up foie gras.
This towering triumph is proof that every e-mail, phone call, and letter matters. Please help spread the success by writing to managers of local restaurants that still sell the vile food. Alert them to the gross cruelty behind foie gras, and ask them to remove it from their menus.

Now it's high time to ban all flesh-foods.

Now, how do we go about banning it at restaurants in our own towns? I live in Santa barbara California and a restaurant called Cafe Luck sells it and they ignore all my emails and phone calls.
Wanna help me?
Call Cafe Luck and leave a message at: 805.962.5393

I am so happy to learn of htis great victory!.. at last!! I'm on verge of bursting into tears of relief for so many birds who will be spared from this terrible torment for the sake of this so called delicacy.. or at the very least another outlet for this terrible product closes down.. and Thankyou Sir RMoore.. and all people who took part in the demos/emails to Selfridges... for the birds' sakes.. it was all worth it in the end..
