Madonna
Some celebrities make animal-friendly demands when they're on tour, but Madonna isn't one of them.

We already knew the Material Girl was a fur hag. Now, she's added to her animal-unfriendly rep by purchasing 110 pounds of kosher meat for the last two performances of her "Sticky and Sweet" tour in Tel Aviv.

We immediately sent her a letter explaining that most imported kosher beef sold in Israel comes from Uruguay, where cattle are often shackled and violently wrestled to the ground before having their throats cut and being hoisted into the air by their hind legs—a cruel "shackle and hoist" slaughter method that the Chief Rabbinate of Israel has called "primitive" and has promised to phase out.

Instead of ordering her weight in meat, Madge would win over more fans if she gave a compassionate diet a try.

She wants to show the world she has compassion for children but how can she have compassion without having empathy for all living beings. Madonna just never comes through as being sincere no matter how hard she tries.

I hope Madonna and her celebrity hangers-on read that e-mail and take it's message to heart. I also hope she and her friends understand that simply practicing Kaballah does not mean you are Jewish. You are only Jewish if you are born to a Jewish mother. If your father is jewish but your mother is not, that makes you a half Jew (race) but not Jewish (religion). Both of Madonna's parents, as I remember, are Catholic.

Those are not my regulations but the regulations of the State of Israel and the Head Rabbis.

Madonna is the textbook definition of "arm flab."

abou time, I use to love Madonna. She is all about herself and her love everyone..well that includes animals! Sure she eats pork too while no one is looking.

Morrissey once said that "Madonna has no earthly value." She eats meat made from hell.

She just likes to create controversy at any cost. She recently had her daughter recreate her 'Like a Virgin' pose (bearing in mind she is only 12) so it's hardly surprising that she has no qualms about exploiting animals too.

Someone should tell Madge, that Hummus is very popular in middle eastern countries.

We would thought that someone who has access to so much information wouldn't be such an ignorant rascal. I am getting rid off all madonna's CDs and she is now a NO,NO in my house. Get a life Madonna!

I don't know how she got so much money. I don't know anyone who ever ran out and bought a Madonna CD.

madonna is so wrong in so many ways...ugh!

I agree with Morrissey!

Go vegan, it is a moral imperative.

Anyone who who wears fur is sick.Madonna, trys to make people think that she is a kind and compassionate person. WHO IS SHE KIDDING?
Maybe she should visit one of these places and see what pain and suffering is inflicted to the animals she wears so proudly

madonna, in my opinion, has ALWAYS been a piece of trash...the "sex" book she released made me want to vomit...none of her poses in the photos were soft none looked natural...it was embarassing...she tries so very hard...i can't understand how she was ever allowed to author childrens books...seriously??? like a virgin and goodnight moon (i don't know the name of any of her books...sorry to use a classic...) sounds like a wonderful way to entertain the children!!! if you want to give them nightmares, right??? ugh...she makes me ill...it's like she screams "HEY!!! LOOK AT ME!!!" doesn't she have an accent now??? come on...get real...if being vegan was a super awesome way to "be cool" she would do it...wait, it is, isn't it??? so, what is she waiting for??? haha...well, i think it's cool...
