Oh my, you forgot ugly, too. Meat-eaters look funny, too & the majority of them are fat. Vegetarians are pretty, but VEGANS ARE STUNNING, BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, etc!

I become vegetarian like 3 moths ago and not only feel healthier but in my opinion I look different in the good way... my nail are grown ,my skin it looks like its glowing and my hair its shinier than ever!.I came from a super meat-eater family and country and live in (texas) I'm probably the only vegetarian in my town and my family ! but its amazing how many choices you have and how well people respond to my desicion!. Also thanks to Peta since the first week I was totally frustrated with what to eat! they help you with so many receipes and option. Thank you and if you are thinking to become vegetarian try it for a week, and you will see that you will not came back!

I agree with the whole factory farming thing because some of the treatment is ridiculous but honestly goin veg over this is pretty stupid i got e coli from vegetables so does that mean i should jus eat meat...no it means we need to help support those who work so hard to provide our country wit food and maybe the could get the right funds to correctly raise animals we eat and produce food (meat and vegetables) that are disease free.

my husband and i saw the documentary Food Inc. It was on the food industry as a whole. Very interesting. The way that animals are treated is unreal. But it is sad that this the reality for them.

I have been wondering what will happen if the world goes vegan.Where will all the farm raised animals go? Who will take responsibility to see that they are fed and cared for? Stop them from procreating and flooding us with animals that have to be accommodated?
Land where they are now will be turned to growing vegetables.
Will we feed then to the wolves, these animals do not have the ability to roam free and survive and where would they roam, with the wolves and coyotes on federal lands, perhaps every vegan in the world could adopt a few of each species and care for them.
Just a thought.

I have lived on a farm in a rural community all of my life, raising a variety of animals from cattle to llamas and sheep. A comment posted on this board earlier caught my attention, and since I am not a supporter of Peta, I was hoping someone could give me an inside view.

As I mentioned, growing up on a farm, I know what first hand occurs. Many videos on this site show the cruelty towards animals....but what about the majority of us livestock owners that DO take care of our animals, in the right, respectable manor? Why is it 1 person, doing something wrong gets publicized, making all of us that are doing the right thing look like the bad guys also; why are you not showing us who do respect our animals on your site?

I always think of it this way; our ancestors, without animals used for livestock and food consumption would not have survived. Without meat to support their bodies, they would not have made it through the harsh winters. Without livestock to plant crops, the job would never get done. We must not forget how animals have helped us make it to where we are today. Please, respect us farmers and ranchers who ARE doing the right think as we are not all criminals...
