I used to work as a tour guide for Green Meadows Farm, which was a traveling version of Godstone. We used to distribute hand sanitizer to the older kids and the parents, telling them to make sure everyone had used it when they left the pens, and please apply it to the hands of the younger children. There was not a day when I ended up doing this myself because the parents were too busy gabbing amongst themselves or playing with the animals to supervise their kids. I sometimes had school groups with fifty kids and thirty parents and most of the two hour tour was spent dealing with hands and telling people not to touch their mouths or their eyes. In most cases the warning went through one ear and out the other. We also had signs everywhere warning parents to wash their own and their kids hands. Sometimes the only way to learn something is the hard way.

If the mouse comic disturbs you, make sure to let people know that while Annie Le is a victim of murder. She also victimized animals, at Yale University.

Smart women don't stand by letting animals suffer. Smart women find another way to do the research, or tries to find alternatives for their lab to experimenting on live animals. Intelligence means nothing without compassion.

Is it any wonder also that her murderer who worked in the lab for years, had done what he did? We know animal abuse leads to a lack of empathy for the suffering of animals AND humans.

She's right in that statistics show that animal abusers lack compassion for humans as well. She didn't deserve to be killed. This guy was apparently quite disturbed and although there seemed to have been signs, no one questioned them, including her. Her intelligence is admirable, yes, but we should start doing this type of research on prisoners on death row, life sentences... they are, after all, properly of the USA and why not? More accurate results would occur and perhaps speedier cures. Who knows???

Statistics do show that lack of empathy for animals and/or abuse of them, can and does lead to the same for humans. I don't think she meant to exploit anything anonymouse... however, there are viable alternatives to laboratory testing on animals. For example, why not test on death row inmates, life sentence inmates? They are, after all, property of the US government and have relinquished their rights by way of committing murder, etc. The human testing would be more accurate because of the exact DNA issue. Also, we could test on human patients willing to try cures for their diagnosed illness. I know if I was given a death sentence by way of cancer or aids, I would be more than willing to donate myself to the cause.

Anonymouse, Jackie is not sick, but one who feels we, as humans, should respect all forms of life, animals, especially, because they are particularly helpless. It's a belief, and as a believer, we don't condone animal testing in any way, shape or form. We are entitled to our beliefs and if you don't like it, then simply don't visit this website.
