You've seen what it's like on Chinese fur farms, but what about Norwegian ones?

Yep, the fur industry is heinous wherever you go.
Need more proof? Check out the rest of the images from Network for Animal Freedom of Norway's 2009 investigations.

I imagine it would be the same hellhole as a Chinese fur farm, except darker and colder in the winter.
Let me go on the record saying I stopped wearing real fur years ago.

The despire they all must feel, it's over whelming. I would have not been able to take pictures/film without opening all the cages and setting them free. But at least we have the proof, the proof enough to never wear their fur for their sake!!It's appalling!!

this is such a sad thing to see...those animals need to be freed before things get worse!

That makes me want to vomit. I went and looked at more of the pictures and it is so sad. I just can't understand how these workers are so desensitized that they can work there and let this happen. And that goes for all place fur farms, slaughters houses etc. What is wrong with people? A fur hat or purse or whatever is not worth this pain and suffering.

I have recently been to Norway and I was staggered at how much fur there was for sale. I was sickened by how many skulls of animals I saw also. I know that their hunting culture goes back a long way into history, but why does it carry on in this day and age? It's awful. I'd never buy fur, ever. I'd never even take it if it was free. I can't even go near real fur or touch it, it makes me feel sick. It's images like that up there that make me ashamed of being human, because we've taken over the world and become 'dominant' over animals and treat them unfairly, why aren't people prosicuted for killing animals like they are for killing humans? After all, we've evolved from animals, so I think we have a responsibility to protect them, not sell their skin.

Is there really still such the demand for fur in 2009??? And who the #$%@ is still wearing it??
It is appalling that this still continues in this day and age......I don't wear fur (or fake fur for that matter), what else can we do to stop this???

I've heard cannibalism used as an excuse for debeaking (he said it as if they were naturally cannibalistic). Don't people realize that this sort of thing is essentially the "We're trapped, so we're going to have to eat each other" plot you see in TV and movies all the time?

words can not discribe my utter disgust with this practice!!!
Why doesnt the US and other countries just refuse to get fur from China until they stop these inhumane practices?????

The fall of man is an irrefutable truth and our massacre and misreatment of our fellow creatures will plunge us into the throes of perdition.

Fur is for barbarians. It's sick, disgusting & cruel.
Posted by: Gina | September 5, 2009 12:27 AM
Sad....
We always think of China for these cruel practices....we need to be aware that this heinous act takes place everywhere....
I do not own fur, and will never buy, the only fur in my home is on and belongs to my pet cats!

My God! When I saw that I was like, "WT..he's not eating the..holy ^%$^%$^%$ he is!" Just...absolutely disgusting.

Is it my eyes or is this white animal eating the LIVE darker one's leg sitting behind it?.. ghastly either way, its time to stop this insanity. Do people still wear fur these days?
And I thought Norway was civilized and nothing like China or similar places ,obviously I was very wrong. Shame on Norway !

As Vegans and vegetarians we will prevail...it will take time but we will get the message out. Cruelty must be abolished.

This really makes me sad. I can't understand why people still wear fur. awful.
Posted by: Tasha | September 6, 2009 12:47 AM
This is disgusting! I am so mad! These people have no right to do this to any living thing. Sad beyond words.

Who are the pathetic excuses for human beings firstly creating a demand for fur, and who are these sick bastards who do this to animals?
I have never, and will not ever wear fur and educate as many people, especially my children to spread the meassage that the senseless slaughter of animals is never okay!
Anyone who is involved, whether directly or indirectly should have limbs or ears removed without anaesthetic, their wounds left untreated while they sit and rot in a wire cage, covered in their own faeces.

just SICK!!!!

A very good reason never to visit or spend any tourist $$$ In any country that contiues this horrible waste of life. These animals feel pain and augish just as we do. I have never worn fur and wonder how anyone can knowing the pain these animals endure.

After watching the PETA video about a fur farm in China, at the end as the animals continue to display stress, and horrific fear, there was no people there! And i thought "why aren't people going in to rescue them?" Need a or another person, you got it! These things of satan will probably start skinning their families alive, just something to cause agony, fear, stress, lonliness! But if they did all I could say is "OH WELL!".

Fur should be banned now, forever. This is just sickening!
Posted by: H Dighton | September 7, 2009 05:08 AM
Fur is cruel and not necessary.
