Hey D.C.ers, this one's for you. Tomorrow morning, when you're picking up that cup o' joe and morning paper before catching the Metro, look out for our sleek new "Vegetarian Starter Kit" stands. They are popping up all over the city—at last count, there were more than 50.

So grab the latest copy of our "Vegetarian Starter Kit." Alicia Silverstone, Russell Simmons, and animals everywhere will appreciate it, and we're sure you will find someone to pass it on to at work or play. Won't you now?

Sure wish you all would set up some of these at the Metrolink stations in Southern California. Not everyone is vegetarian out here yet and even though we have a reputation for having healthy lifestyles, most of us don't.

Get those in Washington! It seems like PeTA rarely comes here...(and now the circus is coming...)
Cool stand! It will definitley catch people's attention (hopefully in a good way!) :D

Most excellent idea. The Vegetarian Starter Kit is a great resource.
I also love PETA's Animal Times magazine—it's worth being a member of PETA just to receive that. It's always full of inspirational articles and useful info.

I heard an AKC breeder say she intended to vandalize one, so I hope these are in areas with security cameras.
I reported the AKC breeder to the cops and the DA. They are looking into her affairs.

Great! Especially in the fact that it comes in a friendly way, instead of the usual "Eat meat and DIE" habit PETA is known for.

I think many African-Americans in the DC would be inspired by the vegetarianism of Dick Gregory, Russell Simmons and neo-soul iconic vocalist Erykah Badu.

After watching these videos and seeing all that there is to see, I would like to stress a point across that it is unsettling. Although I will have opinions core group may disagree with, I would just like to say even though this will most likely not make the wall...WAY TO GO!!!! I'm glad to see the courage that is displayed in PETA and it's faithful followers.

Love it! Also love Joaquin Phoenix on the front too. Bring some to Milwaukee!

that is such a great idea. instead of having to order them, people can just pick one up on the way to the subway.

I agree, what a terrific idea!! We need to get the veg word out there. Hopefully before long they will be all over the place, like the aparment guides.
