Unfortunately, for many people, that is exactly what that poor bunny represents. Except in my experience, most people who abuse animals will never be properly diagnosed and treated for their mental conditions until they harm or kill a human.

That is horrible what that "woman" did to those poor rabbits, I was really thinking about getting a job at my local petland to shut them down by going under cover, and showing all the animal cruelty that is at my local pet store, i mean just the other day i saw a parakeet with all of its feathers ripped out i told the clerk and all they did was just leave it there untill i went on a rant about the animal conditions poor parakeet i hope it got the attention it needed (more than likely not

Its saddening to know that the cruel abusers of animals will never be punished and the victims will almost never recieve justice

Classic, and right on, Jeff.

james i say go for it at your local petland, thats a fantastic way to save a load of animals. you could inform peta of what u find or witness and yet another horrific store will be shut down. That would possibly be the most important thing you could do to save animals in your area. Good luck.

Birds under stress, whether at pet shops or at home with their owners, commonly engage in feather picking. It is a clear sign they are not being well cared for. In a crowded pet shop cage the birds will act the same way that human prisoners in a crowded cell do; the bullies pick on the weak. In the case of a bird alone in a cage at home doing this, it's boredom.
