Finally, I'll be able to watch Top Chef with a clear conscience! Have you heard the deliciously good news? The Bravo show has announced its list of guest judges for the upcoming season, and on the roster is none other than the stunning vegan actor Ms. Natalie Portman!

I can't not love this show!
While it crushes my little heart each time the show's chefs spotlight animal unfriendly cuisine, you and I both know what must be in store if they're open to featuring Natalie. Given that the gal won't even wear leather for a big-screen role (instead ensuring that producers find her cruelty-free synthetics) and is an ethical vegan, we can be sure that the show's contestants will cook up some dishes that we'll all want to devour.

Veggies have never been so HOT
I'm against leather, though it's difficult to avoid letter, as because leather is used in over 80 - 90% of shoes (my estimation).
I'm selling my leather jacket but I sooo desperately want a pair of Puma's... but unfortunately they use leather in their products.
I can't stop this craving for a pair of Pumas. ... lol. It's not really that funny.
But, seriously, it's redic. how heavily leather is used in products.

Good for you Natalie! Continue spreading the word and one person at a time, one day at a time we can all make changes!!

Dave, Puma absolutely makes non-leather shoes! Just do a search for vegan + Puma and you'll get tons of hits.
Ms. Portman is such a classy spokeswoman for the cause. I hope she makes a big splash on the bloody show.

I've never seen the show but I'll have to watch it now cause now they'll be cooking stuff I can actually eat.

@ Dave:
Actually some Puma's do not have leather in them, I just bought a pair that were purely synthetic.. Just read the label on the shoe, or get the ppl at the shoe store to check it out for you.. When I bought my shoes the staff were very understanding and made sure I got a leather free pair of shoes...

How is it that PETA supports dog/cat ownership? This slavery. These animals need to return to wild. There is no reason to eslave any animal for any reason except hubris. Shame that PETA does not see this.

Reply to MANDY:
Thanks for the reply, you're mostly right about Puma not having leather shoes, but they have a few models made of leather:
For example: The following models sport leather:
Tune Cat, GP Cat, Drift Cat L & the Alsten III L
Peace folks. Might push myself for a non-leather model anyways.

Hip Ole Krit, first off that is not at all relevant to this topic. Second of all, if we released all cats and dogs into the wild, all hell would break lose, and we would devastate wild animals as well as domestic. Adopting a shelter cat/dog is one of the easiest and most rewarding ways of making a difference for animals.
