Internet Soup!

Soup
Summer is finally in full swing, and for those of us in D.C., that means frequent stops at Sticky Fingers bakery. All vegan goodies, from cupcakes to chili cheese dogs, and that summer fave—soft-serve ice cream! No, to answer the obvious question, life does not get any better. So, it is as I enjoy some sugary ice cream goodness that I settle into rifling through the Internet for fun, animal-related items to share with you.

All fun and happy stuff for this edition. See you next time.

I still don't understand why anyone would want to eat the diseased, fatty liver of a duck or a goose.

When you eat foie gras, you are injesting a disease; if you would not eat meat from a cow suffering from bovine encephalopathy (Mad Cow) or a deer infected with wasting disease, or a pig with the flu, why would you eat foie gras?

The boxing feline video is fine, but this one is much better:
Kitty Slam: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTGfW1SY8jw

(plus it has a nice animal rights message at the end)

My boy cat LOVES to watch figure skating and he also enjoys MSN--the news scroll on the bottom of the screen can entertain him all afternoon!

My friend's cat enjoys Scooby Doo!

That first one... so many dumb comments... I can barely count.

"If God didn't want us to eat animals, why did he make them out of meat?" Because he wants the question asker to go F himself?

"Foie Gras Friday! 10% of the proceeds go to animal rights activists!"

That belongs on FailBlog. Maybe it'll restore the balance after Bulletin Board "win".

If God didn't want us to eat PEOPLE why did he make them out of meat. (Think about it.)
