This week, we're giving away a copy of Majesco's Gardening Mama game for Nintendo DS to celebrate the game's U.S. release. Remember a few months back when we duked it out with Majesco over the lack of vegetarian options in its Cooking Mama game? We showed Mama that a Thanksgiving dinner full of blood, guts, and feathers is not the only option, and we helped her create a delicious vegetarian menu instead.
The new Gardening Mama game helps you plant, raise, and harvest produce in your very own garden. Hopefully, this game will lead to the development of the much-desired Cooking Mama: Vegetarian Kitchen.
How do you win? Post a comment letting us know which video game you'd like to see PETA parody next. The most creative answer will earn a copy of Gardening Mama.
The contest ends on April 15, 2009, and we'll contact the winner on April 17, 2009. Be sure to read our privacy policy and terms and conditions, as you're agreeing to both by commenting. Check back every Wednesday for new prizes. Good luck!

PETA has money. Develop your own vegeterian Cooking Mama type game and submit it to the ESRB or go to Japan and complain to the people who made the game personally as Majesco only localized it for an American audience.
There are thousands of Guitar Hero clones so whats one Cooking Mama clone going to hurt?

Oh its a contest. xD
How about you parody the arcade classic Mappy?
That game is awsome. :D

Parody one of the hunting games such as Duck Hunter or Deer Hunter. Flying or running carrots, cabbages and potatoes would be hilarious. I have a program that teaches data entry and it includes a game which is similar to what I just suggested; hit the number or letter sequences in correct order and you shoot a spaceship out of the universe using potatoes and tomatoes as weapons.

How about a parody of Zoo Tycoon, showing what life is really like for animals in zoos?

You should Parody "Hells Kitchen: The Video Game"
The chef in that show really deserves to be made fun of!

Oo I would love something like Zoo Tycoon--which I bought a few years ago, before I knew better--only as a sanctuary. And so no guests (or a minimum), lots of education. Lots of feeding animals the right food and administering care. Lots of animals that require sanctuary--farm animals, mostly. It would be so fun. Probably hard to make, but fun.

I think you should do a parody of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. It would be amazing if you did that; I'd love to see what you could do with that ;P

Just so we are clear Mappy is essentially a game where you play as a security guard mouse and you run around a building trying to get all the goods before the cats do.
So you probably could do something with that. :) Maybe have Mappy run away from scientists who wants to perform experiments on him which are inaccurate to begin with or something.

Do a parody of Resident Evil please. You have to kill zombie dogs, and it'd be much better if you could befriend them and take them with you to kill humans ^_^

well i think it would be very intresting to see a parody version of the sims 2:pets for nintendo ds.
instead of caring for the animals you would see how life is like for animals in dark cramped factories. or be a puppy in a horrible puppy mill.

How about a version of cake mania where instead of making cakes and serving them to customers you could create different versions of healthy food for animals and they can be the clientle and when you serve them they will give you a lick or show their happiness and if you take to long they will be impatient and leave a "stinky" surprise for you that you will have to dispose of. And each level can be in a differnet part of nature around the world and you get to encounter many different wildlife and you would have to meet each animals special dietary needs and each time it will get harder and harder with less clues of what the animal desires but the presents can advance like they can give you more veggies to make more treats and animal food for them. I think it should be called Animania (a combo of animal + mania= animania)

Parody a Disney game! I can't believe they have mice and ducks in labor making humans happy.
oh the humanity.
