… to bring the world into focus. This award winning photo is one of those times:

If anyone goes "ew!" remember that humans drink cow's or goat's milk for no good reason. This woman is poor and yet has found a way to feed two needy babies.

that is the best thing i have seen today and i hope that woman gets something for helping that fawn,if only people can be more like her

Beautiful shot, and a good point about things being "gross". Frankly I still think the idea of people drinking breastmilk from a cow is pretty disgusting--but not if they were starving, as this fawn probably was.

This is heart warming...

If only all of us Humans could be as compassionate...This fawn might of lost its mama... so the woman fed it. Wouldnt you feed a kid who lost his/her parent and needed love? Dogs, Cats, Horses, DEER, all living things need love. Take care of the world around you and it will take care of you.

Why would anyone say "Eww" to such a beautiful picture? This lady practices the kindness she probably preaches every day instead of giving lip service to it the way most people do.

WOW,At least that calf is feeding off another species because its STARVING.
Humans just do it because we're addicted gluttons.
Hats off to the woman, I wish British people were as giving as the worlds poor.

I have seen photos of native Brazilian Indians doing this with orphaned mammals and a friend of mine told me her mother saved an abandoned puppy this way, so it seems to be a natural thing for people with natural empathy for other creatures.

That photo brought me to tears. We are NOT different from them. They feel fear, hunger, love...to feel an eww feeling is just a sign of who we have become. I was walknig my dogs (I have four from the shelter) through the botanic gardens and they were getting all tangled up in their leashes making people have to walk around us. Those people were angry at us for this...you could tell. I wanted to say "oh yeah, humans need MORE space that doesn't include any animals than we already have." This woman is doing waht SHOULD be natural. Thank you beautiful lady

This is the most precious thing I've seen in a long time. Cried and smiled at the same time and "eww" never even came into my mind.

What a wonderful contrast this woman is to the people who take the milk of other animal mothers and deny the baby animals any nourishment. A truly beautiful woman.
