Happy "Win It" Wednesday, everyone. This week, we're celebrating the launch of the new and improved Sea Kittens game, in which you can choose your own sea kittens, dress them up, name them, and share them with your friends.

It's super fun to create your own sea kitten, but it's pretty hard to cuddle with a computer screen (not to mention staticky). Luckily, our lovely merchandise team came up with a solution: the brand new "Sammy the Sea Kitten" plush toy!

sea kitten

Sammy enjoys playing Marco Polo, hanging out with his friends, and not being eaten.

How do you win? Go play the new sea kitten game and then leave us a comment describing your new sea kitten's wardrobe. Don't forget to name him or her. The three most inventive creations will take home the prize!

The contest ends on May 13, 2009, and we'll choose the winners on May 15, 2009. Be sure to read our privacy policy and terms and conditions, as you're agreeing to both by commenting. Check back every Wednesday for new prizes. Good luck!

I got a Mahi Mahi and put a unicorn horn on her pretty head. Then added some of that cool rocker hair, put a peta2 mug in her paw... I mean fin... and a pink belt around her belly. Oh, and I added a little friend, the mouse, so she wouldn't get lonely. My fish's name is Purrty. Get it? Purrty. =)

This was fun...I gave my Sea Kitten a lion's mane and tail, dressed him in a punker jacket, bowtie and giant sunglasses, and handed him the electric guitar.

I then named him Hobbs Osborne. Hobbs in honor of my cat who died last summer at the ripe old age of 22 years, and Osborne for rocker Ozzie.

Fun game...I gave my seakitten a lion's mane and tail, outfitted him with a punk jacket, bow tie and big black sunglasses, handed him an electric guitar and named him Hobbs Osborne; Hobbs in honor of my cat who died last year at the ripe old age of 22 years, and Osborne for rocker Ozzie.

I made a few very cute, different Sea Kittens:

In Tune Tuna - The Rocking Tuna! Mohawk, facial hair, guitar, glasses

Princess - Pretty Princess Sea Kitten, Tiara, and tu-tu

Emo-chovey - Emo Sea Kitty, emo hair, business jacket, glasses

Lady Sea Style Kitty - Celebrity Sea Kitten, stylish hair, pink dress, lipstick, peta mug, purse, big glasses

Sea Kitty Kitten - A "Real" Sea "Kitten", kitty ears and whiskers, collar, litter box, mouse, and water bowl

This is a very cute game!

Save the Sea Kittens!!!

I got a flounder and put kitty ears and whiskars on him and named him kitty Fish

So my sea kittens name was Jo Jo Bosworth. He was a tuna, before he became a rock star. I gave him a mustache, since those seem to be in right now. He had a punk-rock black jacket and round circular sunglasses. He also had his ipod in his ears because he's always rocking to his favorite tune!

Meet Suzie - a sassy Swordfish. She likes red lipstck, & never leaves home without her purse. Her favourite t-shirt is from PETA - its says Fish are friends, not Food! She loves listening to her ipod & her favourite song is 'Beyond The Sea' by Bobby Darin. Shes not very confident in swimming in the deeper oceans, so she puts her little floatie armbands on. The sun can be quite bright near the surface, so she always wears sunglasses to protect from the UV rays! Plus they have a super reflective surface, so they can hopefully dazzle those nasty people who try & trick her into biting on a hook. She once saw a real feline & thought they were cool, & now likes to dress up with her cat ears & whiskers - which she had for her birthday last year! Suzie always carries a ball of string in her purse. The reason for this is a well kept secret - which she will share with you now: If you see some fishing hooks, then tie them all together with the ball of string & then tie them on to their boats. It takes those stupid people hours to sort out that mess! Bye bye! Mwah!xxxx

My sea kitten's name is Fluffy. Fluffy is a cat's name so I decided to name her Fluffy. But unlike cats, Fluffy likes to swim, just like humans. S that proves that humans and animals are both alike. We also feel pain. So to prove that Sea Kittens are all apart of cats and humans, I dressed her up in a suit saying she's ready for business(saving other sea kittens)! Sea kittens are the most stylish of them all so I added a cute haircut. GO PETA!! :D

i did it

I named my fishie Freddie Mercury. Its an anchovie dressed like the late leader singer from Queen as he looked in the music video to Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

Plus its an ironic name because there be mercury in fish and that apparently is bad to eat.....so I get double points for creativeness. Thats right I gave myself double points.

I picked the Swordfish and decided to pick upon the 'punk' theme. I dressed him up with Goth Hair, a Punk-Rock Jacket, a Guitar, and Sunglasses. But I also gave him a Toy Mouse since he loves the little guys. :P I named him Stab.

I went all out for my love of rock music for my sea kitten. His name is Spike Apo (paying homage to 2 of my fave bands Linkin Park & Apocalyptica), he's a swordfish with goth hair, a punk jacket & a guitar. He looks like a badass but is a real sweetheart.

Posted by: Mayrette | April 30, 2009 12:14 AM

I picked an anchovy. I gave her a unicorn horn, a tiara, and a fluffy pink tutu. I named her "Sparkle" because anchovies kind of have a silvery sparkle to them.

Posted by: Jazz | April 30, 2009 01:58 AM

My entry would be a gold fish with green gills because I have a great grandson who was born at 3.2 lbs and his name is Samuel and he has a cat named Riley so now we call our goldfish in our tank Sammy and we call our cat Riley around him. He will soon be 2 yrs of age and now weighs about 25 lbs.

Posted by: Sandra Bon | April 30, 2009 04:49 AM

My sea kitten is wearing a salmon-colored pink twill shirt, and a bright red velour jacket with a green carnation in the buttonhole.

His faux-leather gray trousers give the look a certain rebellious quality, which is matched by the rakish glint in his eye.

The outfit is rounded out by an elaborate Louis Vuitton belt with gold trimming, and a pair of handmade, knee-high Malono Blahnik boots.

But he is not happy. He only dresses like that because he can. Because he can afford it, and because Sea Kitten society dictates that the rich display their affluence.

In truth, he is wearing a cloak of sadness. That is what my Sea Kitten is wearing.

His name is Ennui. Ennui the Sea Kitten.

He is probably French.

I made a sea kitten I put a lions tail on it and cat ears bob hair cat wiskers. and I named her Prudence. I love all animals and would do what ever I can to help them. I have a cat named Prudence and I saved her from the animal shelter people where about ready to do the lethal injection and I loved her so much that I had to get her and thats why I named my sea kitten prudence. because I thought about my little kitty.

The Sea Kitten I have created is a mahi-mahi glamour-puss (no pun intended) named Veronica. She loves to sun tan wearing her cool sun glasses in bunches of seaweed with all of her fellow Sea Kitten friends. Her beautiful blue tan is the envy of all the other female Sea Kittens. Roni (as Veronica is often called by her friends) is always seen jammin’ to her I-pod when she is not socializing and sunbathing in the seaweed. Her favorite song is “Octopuses Garden” by the “Sea-Beatles”. Veronica’s trademark is her stylish unicorn horn placed upon her pretty head. Fisher-scum beware because she is notoriously known for stabbing those with her horn that trick her with bait and hurt her beautiful red pout by making it bleed with those terrible jabber things. Inside the purse that Roni carry’s with her at all times is the latest issue of “Animal Times”, snacks such as tofu jerky (Sea Kitten size of course) and PETA “Being boiled hurts” stickers which she sticks to lobsters and crabs if she cannot release them from the cages/nets before they are taken to the surface by fisher-scum. She hopes the stickers make those who live on the surface think about their actions. Veronica may be beautiful, but she has brains and a big compassionate heart too! She is dedicated to making big changes in the world that she lives in.

she is wearing a princess dress and large sunglasses.

Posted by: Vicky Boackle | May 5, 2009 11:52 AM

That was fun.

I picked the salmon with Donald Trump hair and a bow tie. I accessorized with sunglasses because I don't want my fishy to be confused with the real Donald Trump.

Posted by: Debbie W. | May 5, 2009 09:32 PM

I picked a swordfish and I named it Poppy, after my cat that has recently died. She has goth hair, the kitty whiskers and the kitty ears, and she has the rhinestone collar and an i pod so she can listen to her favorite music!
