Right now, MEPs are considering a proposed law that could improve conditions for tens of millions of animals who are experimented on and killed in laboratories across Europe each year. In a vote that will take place next week, the politicians can change this proposal for better or for worse, so Gillian's help has come at just the right time.
Of course, this isn't the first time that Gillian has spoken out in behalf of animals. The award-winning actor has taken action for animals time and time again. Recently, she narrated a video of undercover footage taken inside rabbit fur farms—it was part of PETA's campaign to pressure Giorgio Armani to stick to his fur-free pledge.
Go, Gillian! Check out her letter. And please speak up for animals by pledging to be cruelty-free.

Bravo Gillian! Compassion makes you even more pretty (and sexy!).
I do all I can to try to inform people about animal rights and the shame of factory farming etc...and one of the main reasons I'd like to have a hit song one day or become known is to help end animal suffering and spread the word about Peta's work.
I absolutely respect and admire what you have done for animals. The world needs more celebrities like you.
Peace.

Gee Gill.. tks so much for helping the animals.. it always helps to have a 'household name' or well-known celebrity to speak up for the animals.. animal issues aren't necessarily always at the forefront of most poeple's minds.. thus even if getting people's attention via a celeb highlighting a certain important or urgent issue regarding animals used in various industries and their plight/suffering.. it's always helpful ..
you are animals friend indeed!!

Thanks Gillian!!! If only there were more people that loved animals like you, maybe we could end animal abuse once and for all!

I used to think she was so sexy as Scully or Mulder, I can't remember which she was. Now I just think she is awesome period!
