The only reason people wear fur, especially in Southern California, is vanity. Down here we certainly don't need it to keep warm (it was 80 degrees here yesterday). Wearing fur might also be considered a sign of wealth...well, folks, there are designer labels for those who think that is important ( I would not know a Jimmy Choo shoe even if someone threw it and hit me with it). Stay in your own skin, people, you have plenty of other options now, even if you are into labels.

No matter what cause your for, animal rights, go green, or world peace, going against fur is involved in all three. Plus, if people would all just be educated and SEE the torture, anyone worth anything would see that its just HORRIFYINGLY WRONG.

I see a lot of fur hags at my train station, so I was planning to get this shirt, and wear it without a jacket so everyone can see, all through the train station next winter. But trust me, it will have gotton some use by then! Also, when I go to sports games, I like to wear animal rights tees just incase I get on the bigscreen! I'm shy, so this is my way of subtly (or not so much) sending the messages I strongly believe in. I've been wanting this shirt for a long time!! (I also plan to wear it while sitting next to my grandma at church, who I've never thought of the same after she got that mink coat. I'm sad to say I'm embarrassed to be with her when she has that THING.)

I'd like the red one in women's medium, please. I'm not sure on the size chart, so I'll take a medium just to be sure it fits!!

There is absolutely no reason for any person to ever have to wear another animal's fur. I would be sick to my stomach if someone told me they knew all the things that people do to get animal's fur and still have the nerve to wear it. These animals are taken from their homes, just so another person can seem "fashionable." That's the stupidest excuse I've ever heard. People should be happy that they have the right to keep their body the way it is. They should be thankful that they don't have to worry about them or their own family being skinned alive. I wish that someday everyone would be able to see the world through a helpless skinned animal's eyes.

Animals need fur for survival and humans just don't unless of course they were naked in the wild and it was a NESECITY but it's not. And besides should animals really have to die so we can wear their pelts when ther'e are so many faux options out there?

This isn't prehistoric times. There are so many faux fur options and other materials out there that don't require the painful deaths of animals.

I am a nudist and when the sun is heating up the skin and the breeze caresses it and cools it down is one of the greatest feelings of the world. To have no clothes to inhibit your movements, to have no one to judge you for what you wear, everyone is equal. It is hard to improve on perfection and our skin is perfect in its own right!

As an educator, I want my students to have a role model who is comfortable in her own skin - and uncomfortable in anyone elses! I teach kindness and practice what I teach by not wearing fur, or any material that is cruel to animals.
Wearing a tee that says "Mean people wear fur" is exactly the kind of required reading I would love to show my students! It would be a great lesson for all to learn!

My comment is about an avenue I took to bring the horrific fur industry to maybe some eyes that had not seen it. In a Macy's Christmas catalog was an ad to write a letter to Santa, on the same page as a fur coat advertisement. I wrote a letter to Santa, from the perspective of a small child, starting it off with the words' Why was my Mommy crying when she was looking at a store ad", I sent it to the address that was given, and am sure someone got an eyeful as I also sent a rather gruesome pic along with it. I was very proud of that letter...Maybe shocking to some, but nothing is more shocking than the fur industry, hopefully, it opened at least one person's eyes, if it did, I feel that I accomplished something. I speak out against fur every chance I get, go to local protests, will never stop until fur is left where it belongs, on the back of the original owner. I also confronted owner of fur store until I was escorted out, was proud of that one as many people observed it...we have to take it to these horrific supporters of this trade...

all animals have their own skins with fur depending on their environment people have evolved for their ability to make fabrics and their own clothes to keep warm but murdering animals for their fur instead of getting alternatives lowers us back down we should be beyond that and feel compassion and love for fellow species not "unfashionable"

The only people that have a legit. reason for wearing an actual animals fur are the homeless whom have absolutely no other choice, are just trying to keep their families warm and healthy and would die w/out the old fur coat donations.

I am sorry to I cant wish enough harm on these people who hurt these poor animals for their fur. It really sickens me.
