All throughout the inauguration yesterday, our costumed campaigners were mobbed by curious bystanders, including online celebrity "Obama Girl"! While she was shooting her new video, Obama Girl asked members of our crew to dance with her on camera … and of course we said "Yes." So, be on the lookout for that on YouTube—but here's a little sneak-peek to get the party started:
Wearing nifty Ghostbuster-esque backpack dispensers, we served soy hot cocoa to people who made the compassionate decision to forgo fur that day. Baracky Raccoon and his friends also tooled around in fur-free branded pedicabs.

Hahaha... brilliant! Where can I get one of those Soy-shooting Backpacks? I want to wear it to work, as I haven't found a good-tasting soy hot chocolate yet!

I saw something on CNN that they had live canaries at the inauguration and they froze to death. Is PETA aware of this cruelty?

I love how the fox, raccoon and bunny is on the pedicab while the human are walking alongside. if only we were humane and would treat other species with compassion. great pictures, please put up more.

Did anyone notice how much fur was present during the inauguration? Cindy McCain was wearing a fur coat, Jay-Z was wearing a fur hat, and plenty of other bystanders were donning animal carcasses.
I am grateful that the Obama family chose not to wear fur. I am very hopeful that our new administration will pass more compassionate laws protecting animals.

All was not well for ALL the animals in the inaugural parade. A 10 year old horse named Mouse was hit by a truck. The right hind leg was caught in the grill of a truck and mangled. There was a fair amount of blood. This is just one more reason that horses, specifically carrige horses, do not belong on the streets of 21st century cities.

wow, what a great idea. Good job! I hope Obama is in favor of animal rights. He said he is, but you know politicians...

Yea for the Obama's. No fur for Michelle Obama. I knew this family was going to be the best yet and they sure are proving it. I would love to be able to shake Michelle's hand for not following in the footsteps of other "first" ladies.

all i have to say is that people can live without eating meat...........we can eat tofu and nuts and stuff.........and sure meat tastes goo but just look at it then look at the animals it came from.......................im still too young to be a vegitarian but im trying.....i olny eat hamburgers, and hot dogs. i mean its one thing if the animals die but atleast do it humanely like put them to sleep and let them live in healthy living conditions, im gonna be an emergency vet. for the aspca when i get older

You are never too young eat a VEGAN diet !! It is the very healthiest way of eating - the way our bodies are meant to eat! Our human bodies are not meant to eat meat! Trust me - I reversed cancer by eating a VEGAN diet (no animal products - incl dairy -at all) There is a great DVD that you should watch called "EAT" You can get it online at www.ravediet.com The DVD sums it all up. I wish your young body years of GREAT health!!
