Sarah Palin
Ah, the Palins. One endless reservoir of public mishaps and cavalier insensitivity toward animals. They provide all the cathartic benefits of reality TV, minus the guilt of feeling shallow, since it's on CNN.

Well, in an effort to help safeguard the innocence of youth against merciless animal slaughter, we've sent the newest addition to the Palin clan an adorable care package of compassionate goodies. Sarah's first grandchild Tripp will receive an assortment of cute animal-friendly kid gear, and his young mom Bristol will receive Ingrid's new book, One Can Make a Difference, as well as her classic 50 Awesome Ways Kids Can Help Animals.

Seeing as the little guy probably won't be learning any empathetic values from his aerial-hunting grandparents, we're hoping our small effort will help light the way toward a more conscientious path. And with his pedigree, we think he'll need all the assistance he can get! Click here to read our full letter to Bristol Palin.

For those of you who are still too repulsed at the thought of this family's heartless ways to share in our goodwill toward them just yet, we've got something in our bag for you too. Trot on over to our latest holiday video game. In it you can hurl virtual snowballs at a certain bikini-clad, gun-toting maverick. Enjoy!

The Palin Clan are a hopeless cause. I can only hope they go hunting with Chaney :-)

Aw man, I want free PETA stuff! Nice job, PETA--I hope they actually let Tripp have the gift.

I hope they like the free stuff PETA!
Weird names. Tripp? Bristol?
But then again, my name is Aneliese lol.

Okay, no fair poking fun at the picture!

Just because it makes her look like an insane person who has just tumbled out of bed does NOT mean ...er...

Come on Peta! Do you really think the gifts you are sending Tripp Johnston (Bristol's boyfriend's last name) will actually be used? I am sure Bristol is totally ingrained to hunt and kill animals just like her parents do and your gifts to her son will probably end up in the garbage can. Her mother should end up there instead!

I like Sarah...but her hunting is sad.

I know that the Obama's eat a lot of meat, too. Maybe we should ask them turn over a new leaf and go vegetarian.

Anyway, at least Chelsea Clinton is vegetarian!

Michelle and B. Hussein Obama dine on lobster, cows (steaks), caviar and other flesh so they are no better than Palin. So the Obamas, as well as the Palins, should also be encouraged to have a change of heart for the other animals.

'no better', ana a.g.? are you kidding? they don't wear fur, take their young (though their's are intelligent) daughters hunting, nor do they inarticulately express how they think it's cute to have an animal slaughtered on camera with them. they're even adopting a dog from a shelter. palin however actually pays people to send in the severed paws of wolves they hunt. to compare the two couples animal rights records as equal is just asinine.

I despise Sarah Palin! Not only is she anti animal she is a total moron! When I heard, read, and seen her cruel antics I immediately campaigned against her. Talked to anyone friends, family, and strangers. I was on a mission! Unfortanetly the Palins don't care about animals and the gifts will not be used.

Every time I see the word "maverick" associated with Sarah Palin I almost vomit. The word "maverick" has an interestng origin. There was a farmer in Texas whose last name was Maverick. Unlike all the other farmers, he refused to brand (read 3rd degree burn) his cattle because he thought it was inhumane. Locally and then nationally, the word "maverick" came to mean a person who bucks the system. Sarah Palin is one of the most incompetent neanderthals to run for political office in the history of the United States. She is no maverick!

I don't know 'seriously?' Ana A.G. makes a good point.
You either eats animals or you don't.

"Michelle and B. Hussein Obama dine on lobster, cows (steaks), caviar and other flesh so they are no better than Palin. So the Obamas, as well as the Palins, should also be encouraged to have a change of heart for the other animals."

i agree, that is just plain ghastly and unnecessary. There just doesn't seem to be room for compassion and making intelligent cruelty free choices in some peoples lives. There is no good reason for eating the flesh of dead and brutally tortured animals and living a non-compassionate lifestyle.

What's that, Sarah Palin is still in the news?

Great Job PETA! Thanks for teaching some of my fellow Republicans (hopefully all of them are teached too) to be like me! Animal-Friendly! :D!

Has Tripp actually been born yet? I haven't seen anything to convince me, yet! I'd love to see a picture of him wearing his new onesie!

I sense innocence in young Tripp
perhaps he can become a kink man!
