After once-fur-hag Donna Karan stopped designing fur, we decided to shine the spotlight on someone who hadn't got the message: Giorgio Armani. After he said he had been convinced to stop using fur but then reneged on his promise, we've started running Pinocchio Armani campaign tours to point out his lies and, more importantly, the blood that he still has on his hands.

Our campaigners and local members lined the sidewalk outside the famous Bellagio Hotel this week with traffic-stopping signs reading "Fur Is Dead" and "Pinocchio Armani." Check it out:

I thought Armani gave up fur a long time ago. Guess he doesn't believe the torture animals go through so vain women and men can wear their skins. Or he just doesnt care! So many sadistic people in this world like Armani. The Trollson Twins, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah "The Sadist" Palin etc.

Perhaps the only way for them to see what they are doing is to actually show them what happens to these animals. (Like a video or something.) They need a reality check.

@Rex's Mom
Sarah The Sadist Palin sounds like what her wrestling name would be.

What's most sad is that obviously he initially educated himself about the cruelty of fur and committed to stopping using it, and now, although he knows the horrific truth of the industry, he has decided "who cares" and making more money is all imporant.

Leave real fur out of your collection, Armani.

I will urge everyone I know and can get in touch with, not to buy your products again, until you go FUR-FREE!

I'm not a fan of PETA, however, I'm surprised that your organization doesn't make a 'push' to not allow wild animals to be kept in cities/other human populated areas in the first place. (At least, I've never seen an Ad or news story on such an important subject. I believe it to be just as important as your 'anti-fur' parade.)
