Lindsay Lohan's tan turned noticeably paler tonight after an anti-fur activist showered her with flour at a nightclub in Paris. Lindsay was on her way into the VIP room on the Champs-Elysées just after 1 a.m. early Saturday when she had an entire bag of flour dumped over her head by a French fur foe who shouted, "Lindsay Lohan—fur hag!" Lohan has enraged animal lovers by appearing in at least two different fur coats in recent days, despite PETA's repeated pleas that she consider how animals suffer for every fur garment and stop wearing their skins. You can check out the pics from X17 here.

When Lindsay was named to PETA's annual Worst-Dressed List earlier this year, her entry read: "I Know Who Killed Me isn't just the title of Lindsay Lohan's latest bomb, it's the cry of the animals snuffed out so that this 'mean girl' can pose in their pelts. Lindsay, there's no road to recovery for the foxes who are anally electrocuted so that you can look skanky." She was also in the public eye last winter for allegedly stealing a $10,000 fur coat from a fellow partygoer.

Pledge to go fur-free at PETA.org.

PETA Europe's Robbie LeBlanc had this to say about Lindsay's run in with the French flour-tossing fur foe: "There is nothing remotely 'fashionable' about the torture and death of animals killed for fur. Lindsay Lohan might be able to ignore images of bloody animals skinned alive for their pelts, but we hope a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all."

So come on Lindsay, drop the fur for good.

Young and rich, she just doesn't 'get it' right now. PETA, keep sending her letters. I have high hopes that she will grow up one day and become a careing human being for the animals.

Posted by: SASHA | November 14, 2008 08:56 PM

Hahahaha, oh I would have loved to see that! I hope she finally will stop wearing fur, or at least get angry enough to go bonkers. Hmm, she probably already is though.

Posted by: Aneliese | November 14, 2008 09:12 PM

I am a member of PETA, I just joined not too long ago. This concerns me though that some how it's ok to attack someone because they don't agree with how we feel about animals. To me that is not sending the right message to people. I think it would probably get more people to understand why we feel the way we do if we tell them the reason for our stand on the issue. Also by protesting and not buying produts that enable the torture and killing of innocent animals. Dont by product from companys that promote these peoples movies and that kind of thing will do much more. If you hit them in the pocket book they will be more inclined to change things. Otherwise people just look at you like your nuts and only view your cause as being a bad thing and less people will be inclined to get on the band wagon and help protect these beautiful and prescious animals.

Posted by: Cate | November 14, 2008 09:57 PM

I'm not sure it's the best way to enamour her to our cause, but I'll admit that I'd have loved to have seen it!

Posted by: Canaduck | November 14, 2008 10:31 PM

That skank is still making news? Her career is as dead as the poor animals she wears.

Posted by: Rory | November 14, 2008 10:58 PM

*sigh* It's a fake fur.
Don't you see her anti-fur bandage with Charlotte ronson.

Posted by: Johns | November 14, 2008 10:59 PM

I completely agree with Cate.

Distancing and alienating ourselves from those who wear fur isn't going to do any good.

Instead we should be encouraging her to wisen up. I was a fur-wearing, meat-eating girl just like her untill recently, NOT because I'm vain or an animal hater, but because I simply couldn't fathom these kinds of things happening in our world. It was only after accidentally stumbling upon a video that my eyes were opened.
If I had been attacked by an activist rather than encouraged by a video, I would've continued to think PETA was just a soft organisation giving 'hippy'deviants something to rebel against.

Making her resent the people behind the message isn't going to give her any reason to try and understand it... and if she can't understand it, how can we expect her to support it?

We can't force views on people, expecially by attacking their niavety... but we CAN provide them with the knowledge to decide for themselves, and if the cause is good enough (which it IS in PETA's case), they'll support it.

can we please get pictures or a video of this. i promise to bath my animals in pure gold, if you post either or.

Posted by: buttercupes | November 14, 2008 11:50 PM

Where's the pictures?! This rocks!

Posted by: Curtis | November 15, 2008 12:13 AM

Some of you don't understand that sometimes coarse action is needed. Although I do not condone violence, what happened to Ms. Lohan was not a violent act, She was simply put into to an embarrasing situation that might very well change her outlook on animal cruelty..I'm sure if someone stole her animal companion and sold him/her for fur she would have a very different view of our cause. Yes it's true some anti-fur enthusiasts go a bit far and again I don't condone this behavior. But what makes people so much better then animals. We can't pretend to have the same innocense as a animal. Many Animals flourished this earth without any human contact and did live in peace. As a Native American I can no longer sit around and ignore this horrific cruelty, so I became a member to get the message out to those that have no idea that this torture is happening. As Trent Reznor said.."If you wear fur you must share in the blame" Thank you for reading this. And Ms. Lohan I apologize for what happened to you..but please for the sake of all animals, No more fur. I hope you have the chance to read this and just open your eyes, and see what man has done.

Posted by: Jason | November 15, 2008 02:32 AM

this is amazing! lohan is an idiot, media whore. good for PETA! i stand by you guys no matter what you do because you are always in the best interest of animals. and to the person who objects...you should question your position... only the fanatics get their point across!

Posted by: david | November 15, 2008 03:30 AM

I was thinking for some time to start supporting peta, since i got one litle dog from the street,he was probably dropped. He was a new born and so small and fragile.I took it to the doctor and from then on,she is my weakness and she loves me back so much. But reading this incident has dissapointed me.I dont want to support such actions done against people, when its very obvious they have problems, mental or addictive.I kind of feel sorry for Lindsay.Maybe a telling would have been better. But humiliating people is not.
Thank you.

Posted by: Olga | November 15, 2008 04:36 AM

Looks like the greedy little twit finally got what she had coming to her. Now where's the pictures? I wish I was there to see that one! Good job to the activist for a job well done!

Posted by: emily | November 15, 2008 05:16 AM

It may alienate her to accept our message about the fur industry and the cruelty, maybe now she'll really turn off listen to our cries for help to stop killing animals for their skins. But again in saying that id do anything to have seeing her stupid face covered with flour, hehe!

Posted by: John Carmody | November 15, 2008 07:57 AM

i think lohan doesn't know what she wants: some weeks ago i saw her on a picture with an antifur-sticker on her cloth - i think it was at humane society!!!!????

Posted by: questionmark | November 15, 2008 08:52 AM

Call me old fashioned but maybe a good old letter writing campaign with the spamming of snail mail kindly telling her why fur sucks would of done alot better?

I mean yeah I get it fur is bad. I don't get fur. But lord knows everyone is more inclined to listen to people who throws crap in one's face.

And yes I know the animals are suffering more than some rich celebrity getting a face full of powder but still what are the chances she will listen to your side of the argument now PETA?

Posted by: King of Fiji | November 15, 2008 09:46 AM

this is not a anti-fur act from peta, but (more likely) from alf.

anyway, I approve it.

Posted by: tiago | November 15, 2008 10:05 AM

her unconcern and selfishness for the suffering of animals is simply REPULSIVE...

Posted by: liz | November 15, 2008 10:07 AM

Cate - I said the same thing yesterday about the Mary-Kate and Ashley campaign. I see the idea behind PETA's campaigns. While it seems harsh to dump something all over someone, it is even harsher to the animals used for the coat. Animals are skinned alive! That's pretty harsh.

I am by no means saying that every harsh action deserves another one but in this case it was only flour. It wasn't heavy, didn't hurt her and still made the point.

We can't only use the "no buy" rule. A demonstration/action showing what we mean sometimes is way more effective. It's as they always say "I have to see it to believe it"...

Posted by: KD | November 15, 2008 11:13 AM

Please go to this story on cbsnews.com this morning and look at some of the comments posted blasting Peta. Pretty accusational stuff. I don't like Lindsay Lohan I think she is an idiot.

Posted by: thomas | November 15, 2008 11:40 AM

I will agree that I do not support stars (not that LiLo is a star -- she's a washed up star), the wealthy, etc... and their need to wear any fur. I find it repulsive and just ignorant. But, I DO NOT believe that the aggressive tactics from PETA endear anyone to the cause. I understand why, because you want to make the statement bold enough to get good press in order to spread the word, but, it crosses a line that PETA preaches about being ethical and, to me, it makes PETA look bad. Although, it isn't paint... so, there's a plus!!!!! As I think about it from another angle... LILO should thank PETA -- you may have saved her from a drug overdose by not attending the 'private' club! LOL Keep up the good work PETA!!!!

Posted by: kate | November 15, 2008 12:43 PM

This isnt one smart cookie we are talking about here, she just dosent get it. Well maybe if she read some of the comments or the magazines she appears in maybe put a segment in them or contact the magazines. Or better still why not email her, contact her, to let her know how appalling is wearing animals, how its not COOL to do, how her fans (if any) dont like it, and wont support her. Can this be done?

Posted by: Beverley Rahnn | November 15, 2008 12:47 PM

I don't know how PETA requested her to support animals and stop using fur. Anyone can be convinced to botcott animal skins and furs by watching PETA videos. I am glad that someone had courage to express love for animals. I hope to see the activists more involved to stop these killer celebrities!

Posted by: Amee Vyas | November 15, 2008 12:58 PM

That slimebag just got a bag of flour on her head. Imagine what the animals made for her coats went through. Some people need a rude awakening in order to understand. I don't think that lame brain absorbs much. Some people (like the Trollsen sisters) just don't care!

Posted by: susan | November 15, 2008 01:57 PM

all Lindsay gets is a little flour on her?boo F*&%(ing hoo
that was a nice way to try and get across a very important fact
fur is DEAD.Lindsay get a little flour that -gasp could get on her party dress but the animals she is wearing were tortured and murdered.Personally I would have
thrown poo on her because that is what she is acting like -a little s**t she is old enough to know better , she doesn't live in a remote 3rd world country or an igloo, everyone knows where fur comes from and how it is gotten and it doesn't take a brain surgeon to know this and on top of it she is not a baby she is an adult and has grown up in the modern world -she knows what the animals have been through and she is choosing to wear their skinned fur, their bloody aftermath of a stolen life and try and pass it off as high fashion-while really all she is saying is that she is a selfish glutunous vacant cold hearted sorry excuse for a human.

Posted by: simara | November 15, 2008 02:04 PM

Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please do it again if she keeps wearing fur!

make it ketchup next time.

Posted by: Monica | November 15, 2008 04:27 PM

Wearing fur is outrageous. Throwing flour seems like an entirely civilized response to me.

After reading about this incident, I think I'll send a contribution to PETA.

Posted by: Robert Wright | November 15, 2008 04:39 PM

in my opinion, i dont think that lady who threw flour on her is right. is she a PETA member? if so, that's very rude and not a right thing to do. in the site of PETA it says "people for the ethical treatment of animals"...but what she did to lindsay is not ethical at all... you're being good to animals but you're ready to harm people? i'm not a fan of lindsay. i'm actually a supporter of animals right. i have pets. but doing these crazy acts just so people would stop to wear fur is just too much. voice out your opinions but dont do harm to people.. it's a bit sad. i do wish people would stop to wear real fur tho. but come on, that flour thing is beyond ethical.

Posted by: Rit | November 15, 2008 05:01 PM

I love PETA and all that they do, but I think that it negates your most valuable asset, the integrity of this organization, when one of your members assaults somebody. I don't wear fur, but I also would never assault someone for it. That is wrong. I'm a bit ashamed of PETA right now, and that feels bad. Someone should apologize to Lindsay.

Posted by: Monique Gray | November 15, 2008 05:57 PM

check out shoppingandinfo.com they posted FAUX FUR options for Lindsay Lohan for next time hahaha

Posted by: Shelly | November 15, 2008 06:55 PM

While I do agree that the best way to get companies to stop torturing animals is to boycott their products and write them letters (believe me, I've received so many responses from companies pretty much begging me not to stop buying their products, I always write back that once they stop their animals tests and place a "not tested on animals" label, I will not continue to buy their products), not buy fur, leather, and not support the meat industry.
However, it is nice to see a harmless bag of flour thrown at this brat.
As for it being fake fur, I still do not even like fake fur. It still sends a signal of real fur since most people do not know it's fake.

Posted by: Steve Miller | November 15, 2008 07:48 PM

Samantha Ronson posted a blog about it on myspace... it was on the sign in page.I think flour and a little humiliation is called for when someone is wearing fur. They deserve to be humiliated for supporting such a disgusting industry.

Posted by: nuri | November 15, 2008 09:51 PM

How would someone know whether or not the fur is real or faux?

Posted by: Rosealinda | November 15, 2008 11:53 PM

Lohan wearing fur? PUH-LEAZE! Lohan doesn't know HOW to wear fur. The days of actresses making fur glamorous ended in the 1930s with the likes of Jean Harlow. In the year 2008, any public figure (no matter how vapid, lame and useless)who wears fur is just a douche! Great job, PETA!

Posted by: Jim | November 16, 2008 02:30 AM

Way to go! Like others have mentioned here people will look at these tactics with skepticism but at least they'll look. Lohan is so self absorbed and screwed up, unfortunately I don't think she'll ever get it. But I know PETA will keep trying.

This news cheers me up immensely! If only I lived in America then I would join in on this fun!

and I began to notice but it seems most hunters I met type illiterate meanwhile vegeterians seem to never get a single typo...

Digression end. I agree with the ketchup statement and believe that Maple Syrup should be poured on her. Then she'll feel both icky and sticky!

Posted by: Parker | November 16, 2008 01:10 PM

Look, y'all, she's already gone back on her word to not wear fur--apparently she just said she would stop to get herself off the worst dressed list a couple of years ago. So she's not just a fur skank, she's a lying scumbag as well and she got exactly what she deserved. She's gotten the benefit of the doubt far too many times and yes, a sack of flour is nothing compared to having your skin ripped from your body while you're still alive.

Posted by: Elphaba | November 16, 2008 04:56 PM

You can see it on you tube. Great stuff!! I hate that slime. Hope she takes a few moments out of her self absorbed life to learn about all the horror that goes into one of her disgusting jackets.

Posted by: Diane | November 16, 2008 07:11 PM

She's never going to get it. Self centered, untalented white trash that somehow got rich & famous-- a fluke. She's a disaster, a sexually confused, over hyped, unattractive "Mean Girl" inside & out. I would have preferred red paint thrown on her coat instead. It would have made a bigger impact by ruining the fur hag's most recent prized possession, a dead animal's remains she proudly wears to show off her supposed celebrity status. She was fast becoming a joke as an actress on a downward spiral before the fur incident, but this further exposes her mediocrity & lack of character. L.Lo's 15 minutes of fame has passed & now she's known more for the photos of her with that freak she calls her girlfriend than acting. Also if I see one more picture of her throwing kisses to fans or dressing up like Marilyn Monroe I'm going to puke. I'm sick of seeing them, go away Lindsey!

The Lindseys, Britneys, Paris's don't have a clue, or want to learn about anything going on in the world besides nightclubs, drinking, shopping & whatever else they can over consume with, treating their dogs like an accessory. They use the animals for publicity, attention by wearing them or having a small dog in tow, dragging it around like the latest designer handbag thrown out, given to Goodwill, or personal assistant they'll fire when they get bored with them.

She should take a cue from Alicia Silverstone, Carrie Underwood, Joaquin Phoenix, all successful, talented & beautiful inside & out because they use their celebrity status to reach out, help & save the voiceless victims, the animals Lindsey chooses instead to wrap around her malnourished, anorexic looking body.

Posted by: Gemma | November 16, 2008 07:17 PM

ROTFLMFAO!!!!!! Woo hoo! Does anyone have a youtube version of that?

Posted by: MeL | November 16, 2008 08:09 PM

No one needs to wear fur in this day and age anyhow, and I'm sure a little flour didn't hurt Lindsay. Too bad we can't say the same about the poor animal who died a horrible and painful death so Lindsay could parade herself around some nightclub with it.

Posted by: Maria Lee | November 16, 2008 08:31 PM

If you don't take direct action, often times nothing will happen.

We've tried writing kind, sensitive letters to Lindsay - we've sent her DVD's and web links but has she listened?? NO!

It's time to take some more direct action.

Posted by: Niki | November 16, 2008 10:06 PM

why saddens me that people are so outrage that flour was throw at this slut. the real outrage is those animals skinned alive, gas, and anally electrocuted.

Posted by: Roxanne | November 16, 2008 11:39 PM

Get a grip people it was a bag of flour, so she had to dust off a little bit, and continue to have a good time. The poor animal she was wearing doesn't have that luxury! Yes there are animal rights extremists out there but you know what they do what we are all scared to do. Some times action is better than just talking! If you want to see a horrible act watch Whale Wars, that is a disgusting act against animals, LiLo getting some flour dumped on her serves her right for wearing fur and participating in the murder of animals!!

Posted by: Leslie | November 16, 2008 11:49 PM

ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVIST SCREWS UP AGAIN?

Animals are anally electrocuted for their fur, bludgeoned to death, skinned alive, etc.

And when they asked that women, on camera, which countless people would see, "why did you do it?" What did she say? "Fur hag." What?! Couldn't she have said, "animals are skinned alive," or even just "skinned alive"?

This is basic media training, people. PETA reps are very good at it, because they practice like hell. Can you please say the facts when you get the 3.5 seconds of airtime? Please?? The animals are counting on you. Jeez.

But really, other than that, WONDERFUL JOB. I have a huge amount of respect for the woman who did it.

Was it wrong because it was harassment? Why couldn't she have just "peacefully stated her views"? Because that misses the point of animal rights. Animal rights is based on the argument that our attitude of taking animal interests less seriously is as unjustified as racism, and it's called speciesism. No one has refuted the main argument, as presented in many books, most notably "Animal Liberation" by Peter Singer. If it holds true, then our treatment of animals - like keeping them in cages so small they go insane, chopping off parts of their bodies without painkillers, etc. - is no less evil than slave trades and genocide of members of our own species.

Therefore, if it successful gets more attention to this, if only a little, which it did, then it is justified.

And thankfully, in the long run, we're winning - look at society's attitudes in the past decades, and, hey, look at Prop 2!

Posted by: Mark | November 17, 2008 12:16 AM

Maybe the action was a bit agressive and it is not the best way to make someone understand. But she obviously does not want to listen. She does not care, she seems to be such an empty person. She and her girl fried ask for respect, but that is a two way street. She has disrespect written all over her, not just by wearing fur, but the way she lives. She obviously does not care for herself and it shows. It's not just for the suffering of the animals that such wake up calls with the flower are necessary, hopefully it will help Lindsay too by realising that she does have a choice and she could start educating herself.

Posted by: Anne | November 17, 2008 05:05 AM

I wonder if Samantha has seen video of animals being skinnned alive for their fur? If not, maybe she should. It just might be a good thing in helping her help Lohan stop her addiction to fur. Maybe she can convince her to try compassion and get a heart. I know if my boyfriend wore fur and I watched a video, I would be all over him to stop.

Posted by: Tammy | November 17, 2008 07:29 AM

I think some of the comments here are a little hysterical.. "attacking people" and "agressive tactics".. Come on. people! She had a little bit of flour thrown over her; nothing painful.. nothing toxic. Just a little embarrassing. Hopefully, embarrassing enough to make her think next time she feels like parading around with animal corpses on!!!

Posted by: Shelby (Aust) | November 17, 2008 08:55 AM

I'm not a member of PETA, but I fully sponsor them. I would love to see Lindsay's flour covered head and clothes. I don't like her! Where are the pics!?

Posted by: Robbin | November 17, 2008 10:15 AM

She's a skank so it doesn't surprise me she wears fur. Too bad it wasn't red dye. She's too stupid to change.

Fur is ugly anyway!

Posted by: Rebekah | November 17, 2008 11:04 AM

I totally agree with Aneliese. Okay so how is attacking Lindsay with flour going to change her mind on wearing fur? She dusted her self off and continued to strut her onsomble. Fighting hate with hate is not going to work. Eductaion is the key not violence.

Posted by: Resolving hate w/ hate?? | November 17, 2008 11:52 AM

Some of you people commenting here are on the wrong website. Lohan didn't even get a fraction of what she deserves!! Attacks like this are never first on the agenda of helping animals, but when animal abuse supporters like her ignore our pleas and letters, then this is what it comes down to. I fully support everything PETA does, and have no pity for her, but for the millions of animals who are killed in unspeakable ways for their fur.And if you still dont get it, take the time to watch a single fur video, and it will change your mind. Until every cage is empty...........

Posted by: ghazal tajalli | November 17, 2008 12:19 PM

I have seen this sort of actions before, and they did nothing to change my point of view as it did watching a video of an animal being skinned alive and reading about the process that goes behind selling any kind of meat in a super market.

The right solution is to inform people rather than throwing things at them. PETA is getting a bad rep where many people think that its members are nothing but crazy irrational people, so the message doesn't get across when people don't respect the ones that are sending the message in the first place.

Another thing is that the people targeted for this kind of actions are not the ones that skin the animals but a few celebrities because that will get the media attention. I read some of the posts and people seem to enjoy what happened mainly because they dislike Lindsay Lohan as a person for reasons other than wearing fur, and not because they think that the flour attack will have a positive effect on her or other people. Is like some posters were glad that she wore the fur to have an excuse to throw something at her face.

PETA shouldn't be about condoning hate actions against a few chosen people, who are not even the cause of the problem. Focus on the real problem and be the bigger person, and avoid childish approaches that do nothing but give immediate pleasure but are counter productive to the main goal.

Posted by: Matt | November 17, 2008 01:55 PM

This is really sad! I mean yes, it's bad that she wears furs, but it's so not right to throw flour or anything for that matter at another human being. This just shows that PETA can be just as big an animal and the animals they try to protect. Go about it another way!

Posted by: Brittany | November 17, 2008 01:56 PM

LOL ! Skanks will never learn sadly.

Posted by: Kelly | November 17, 2008 02:42 PM

a little humiliation.. what's so bad about that? It's people who are in the public eye that flaunt and wear real fur that are the worst because they generate so much publicity as if to say.. 'it's okay to wear real fur'.. Oh no.. it AIN'T.. and the brave parisian who pelted her with only a bag of flour .. made her viewpoint well and truly known.. good for her!!

Posted by: lisa | November 17, 2008 02:47 PM

I must agree with Jason. What's wrong you people? It's wrong to hurt someone even if they don't care about animals like a skank like lohan but this didn't really hurt her. She just got covered in flour and looked stupid! I'm pretty sure the flour whased away when she took a bath.

Posted by: Hana | November 17, 2008 03:42 PM

It isn't like Linsay doesn't know about the cruelty she is inflicting on animals; unless she has completely ignored thousands of pleas for her to stop.
She deserves more that flour poured on her. She deserves to have her skin ripped from her while she is alive.

I don't see how throwing flour on Lindsay Lohan hurt her, it wasn't a painful act, what happened to the animals she's wearing, with them being skinned alive is a painful act. I liked Lindsay Lohan, but the girl is such an idiot! Peta, you need to send her more letters, MAYBE put some pictures on the letters, so it's easier for her. She probably can't read, that's why she's not getting the message!

Well, people get mad and do things all the time. Does it mean it's right? No, but she wasn't injured or anything bad. There are more mature ways to get points across though. Educating everyone with showing videos, passing out information, photos for people to see it for themselves. I realize people turn a blind eye and pretend it's not real, but at least PETA can try in an informational way to get their good points across.

Two undenyable facts: someone attacked Lohan with a bag of flour (yes it's an attack if you wait for someone to arrive and deliberatly throw flour at her/him), Lohan got free publicity... I think that despite the fact that she deserve it, or not, by supporting this PETA creates a negative imagine of the organization and gives free publicty to someone who doesn't deserve it. Please stand up for the animal rights the right way!!!

thanks for PETA!

F&^k these celebrities that think just because they are famous they dont give a shit about where their clothes comes from. I just watched the video above and cried so hard... how could people be soooo cruel to animals. They are helpless and cannot defend themselves. Thanks to Peta and all the people out there that choose to go fur free and vegetarian for you are the people that make this world beautiful. Damn these people and their greed and inability to see the bigger picture.

Thanks Peta. You do a fantastic job. Keep it up. Lets hope the world changes for the better soon.

How the hell do people tell the difference between real and fake fur anyway? I follow Lindsay's career and I doubt she was wearing real fur.

The world is very sick... Poor us, and poor animals.

Too rich, too much of everything, too pampered, out of touch , out of friends.
Another cookie cutter silly pretty girl with no conscience and no values.
She was lucky it was only flour

I cant see how anyone could wear fur. The pain these poor animals have to go through just so that people can wear their fur. Its painful for animal lovers so see that. It hurts my heart.

How 'bout if someone teaches a lesson and tells that selfish spoiled brat to inject some cooking oil in her self.

(It totally ruins the face, she'll look hideous!)

So, anyone think they could try and trick her? =3 Please?

Hoorah for the person that flour bombed her. I thought it was hilarious. I am so sick of hearing about how skinny she is, or about her drug rehab. Maybe she will eventually starve herself or overdose so we don't have to keep hearing about what a loser she is. She is a skank!

I agree with Alex: she got lots of attention, which she didn't deserve, but also to say Peta is bad is no good, FOR ALL PETA HAS DONE AND IS DOING to stand for animals, NOBODY CAN THROW THE RESPONSABILITY OF A SINGLE PERSON ACTION ON THE WHOLE ORGANIZATION that since yeeeaaars works hard to support animals' freedom to live! This has just been the emotional breakout of a Peta member, ok, what to do, after all Lohan maybe needs to be waken up, looking at her life....She was probably happy for all the attention she got! For free!! But don't blame PETA, that's not serious!! Peta is a great organization, and thanks God, IT'S A REALITY AND EXISTS!!
And I'm not even a Peta member! (Yet...)

Please, continue throwing things at these people. They need to wake up from their fantasy realities!

I agree with Cate.... I just watched the interview with Kristen Johnston about the horrible life of horses who pull the carriages in NYC... when I was in NYC in 2001 I saw these horses and I thought it was awesome to see these beautiful animals on the streets of a city... I have always been an animal lover... but I didn't have enough knowlegde back then to know how they were being treated after hours... KNOWLEDGE is POWER.. I say keep sending these celebrities letters and videos to show them the cruelty that is inflicted onto these animals to make you a Fur coat or scarf...I get angry with the things I read and the more I learn, but I don't think you should be following people out in the streets throwing things on them! All they are going to do then is rebel more against us!! You can be fashonable with your millions on other articles of clothing... Teach and maybe they will learn!!

Come on guys, we are all here for the same reason right? To help animals. We are not here to bash Lindsay. I think it is horrible that she wears fur. Horrible that anyone does. I am so grateful for all that PETA does, the world isn't going to change on its own. But I have to disagree with the flour. It does give PETA a bad rap. I am really glad it wasn't ketchup or paint though, not to protect Lindsay, but why ruin a fur coat, you are only disrespecting the animals that suffered! Those beautiful, innocent animals already died in vain, please don't give these people an excuse to go out and buy another coat! Education is certainly the way to go. I know, not everyone will listen, but with persistence we can change the world. Thank you so much PETA for the many horrors you guys face and the time you put into helping animals, and creating awareness. I will continue to support you, and do everything I can to help animals.

Just another spoiled over-indulged attention grabbing hollywood who is milking this for all it is worth.

I think she is wearing the furs to get more media coverage and pose controversy.

I wish she would just go away.

Posted by: debbie | November 21, 2008 02:04 PM

I think she is just milking this for attention.

Posted by: Debbie | November 21, 2008 02:05 PM

What kind of person is she?? for people like her animals are still slaughtered.
Her wealth doesn't justify her actions!!
Animal LiBeRaTiOn Now!!!

Flour power!

Posted by: lynda downie | November 25, 2008 12:29 AM

I also agree with Cate. Will you please put pictures on her or atleast a video???????

Posted by: sasha | November 26, 2008 02:26 PM

It's acts like these that makes me, and other people, not want to join Peta. I think discussing issues in a calm and reasonable matter would get people like Lindsay to realize what they're doing is wrong. Getting flour in your face doesn't let you know that fur coats are the result of animal torture. Please, just think about that Peta.

Attacking someone's pride is often more destructive than attacking their person. Dumping a bag of flour on Miss Lohan is more likely to make her defensive/protective of her behaviors than it is to make her see "the errors of her ways". Positive reinforcement works, while negative reinforcement often causes an aggressive response. This incident also makes the person throwing the bag of flour look foolish and juvenile.
If PETA members really desire to help change Miss Lohan's behavior, maybe they should praise her when she is photographed in coats made from synthetic fibers, applauding her "efforts to change".
