Internet Soup!

Posted at 03:20 PM | | CommentsComments (2)

How fun that this year Halloween falls on an Internet Soup Friday! Yes it's cheesy, but I so love the little last-day-of-school rush that I get on I.S. Fridays. It's like you've already turned in all your homework and extra credit, so while you're waiting for the bell to ring, you just go online (or, in my day, rummage through the teacher's desk) and look for weird and fun stuff. So at the end of an action-packed week of filing, here is our offering of oddities.

So that's the lot! We sure hope you've enjoyed these tidbits while avoiding real work. I'm off to put in my vegan wax fangs and witch hat. Tune in next time, and please feel free to let us know if you come across any cute or strange happenings that you'd like us to include.

Happy Halloween!

I love seeing the people in Shandong signing the petition against fur! Fantastic!!!
And Leo is a cutie to be sure but I hated to see him sitting on a mattress, no collar, outside the burned out house. Seems like a hero deserves far better than that.

OMG if that doesn't get through to the meatheads; what will? It's gotta at least lift some of the fog from the delutional separation of mind, body, spirit. Thanks for the tip.

And thanks for the story of the terrier, what a sweet charmming fella to go to all that trouble to save his kitten friends. Very Sweet.

It's inspiring to know that people are really working on saving animals from the barbaric fur trade. It's the absolute worst thing about living in NYC in the winter, not the snow, the sleet, the rain, the rent, but having that shoved in your face every time you walk down the street.
