EXCELLENT, it's about forkin' time!! These guys were getting away with this for FAR TOO LONG profiting VERY nicely off the IMMENSE suffering of their victims(God Bless 'em)...how the Rabashkins slept at night is beyond me and the fact they CLAIMED to be humane kosher makes me even MORE furious!

I STILL think they should be shut down though as they've made enough money, actually WAY TOO MUCH money off their HEINOUS crimes rendered onto the innocent victims whose already miserable lives had to end in HORRIFIC INTENSE pain at the HANDS of Corp world GREED!

A vegetarian of 40 yrs this doesn't affect my lifestyle but for years I've had flyers circulated ALL over and posted in ALL the local stores that sell these pitifull products (I live in a HUGE radius too) and will continue to do so as long as AGRIPROCESSORS stays up and running, SORRY Rabashkins my community doesn't do business with deceitful, exploitive criminals who possess a total LACK of disregard for the animals, environment AND consumer! In MY eyes you're nothing but a parasitic mass murderer of the EVIL Corp world that's killing this country.

I'm glad the authorities are FINALLY taking action and THANK GOD for PETA's videos and the HERO behind the camera (Must have been a TRUE nightmare) couldn't have done it without him, THANK YOU for your compassion & courage :) Now we can FINALLY breathe a sigh of relief that hopefully the innocent sentient beings will soon be treated with the proper care, respect and humanity they're SO deserving of!

AgriProcessors was in the MSM today for a totally different reason...for violating child labor laws. Of course, when you're in the business of cruelty slaughtering defenseless animals and exploiting immigrant workers, is it any surprise? Peta, please interview the children that Agriprocessors gets to do their dirty work, like 14 yr olds! But then, we all knew they had no morals at all, so are we surprised? So, that's multiple animal cruelties, illegal immigrants, and now 14 yr olds. Maybe those 14 yr olds would like to explain what Agriprocessors does (and why the heck the children wanted to work there? Were they destitute?) I want this hellish place completely shut down. But notice how the media will not cover the horrific animal cruelty case, don't even mention it.

of all the slaughter process videos i have seen on this website (apart from fur), this was the most horrendous... i can't believe that they call this religious meat (is it blessed?)... those poor animals suffer so greatly it's appalling and it should be stopped all together. and who can bring themselves to work in these conditions???

dear kelly: many rabbis don't accept this but many people don't listen to the rabbis and furthermore everybody should be aware of the sad fact that many inhumane things are committed in the name of so-called religions! in their name many human beings lose their mind and soul and reason for to become head- and heart- and senseless slaves of insane doctrines!
all slaughterhouses should be equipped with video cameras in order to ban inhumane slaughter methods! and in view of the worldwide tendency of continuous meat consumption (also for dogs and cats) PETA and other great animal rights organizations should urgently focus on promoting humane slaughter methods because it doesn't look like everybody in this world would quickly turn vegetarian! so humane slaughter methods are really urgent!

Of course people do what they want when they "think" no one is watching. That's why there is so much hate, crime, and violence in the world. Some people aren't even that decent- they'll do it even IF someone is watching or they are being monitored via video.

We see it time after time- videos showing despicable chefs/waiters/waitresses spitting, urinating, etc in a paying customers food. We see video footage of maids stealing from clients homes when they go to clean it. We see innocent babies being beaten by their nanny's.

Unless something is truly done about anything that happens these days- no one will take it serious. We give someone a slap on the hand and basically let them walk away scott free. So they lose their job- big whoop. Some people have no shame and don't have a hard time finding another employer who will let them make the same mistake they made the first time.

It is just insane. These cows are feeling beings. They are, in their own way, human beings. If you were turned into a cow or had been born a cow, you would be yourself, a person, just not intelligent or have the same looking body. What is done to these cows, you may as well have human-bodied people in those machines having their throats sawed open like Al Qaeda does to people (go watch their videos). Just because cows have a different looking body, society has no conscience and no moral issue with torturing them and murdering them. That is the same aproval of evil that was done to children with down syndrome and to certain races of people in past societies. Even though they were very much the same, there was no conscience and no moral issue with torturing, vivisecting, murdering. It is simply insane and evil! The fact that this has been done to humans that are a little different by race or mentality is PROOF that accepting it done to animals is wrong because it shows that there is some kind of thing that people and societies use to designate certain types as torturable, and that has been proven to be an evil delusion that not valid.

The RUBASHKINS have been in trouble for so long with the government, back taxes, bringing in undocumented workers and paying them nothing so to pass THEIR expenses on to the tax payer here which is another task RUBASHKIN fails to do, PAY his taxes!

He has an organized business running out of his plant including a meth lab! Why he's still in business just goes to show you how corrupt our government truly is as it's skanks like him along with all the politicians who take bribes from big corps and turn a blind eye that's leading this country to its demise.

This parasite has profited NICELY off what I call 'blood money' from the brutal suffering of his victims which he guarantees the consumer is humane kosher slaughter when it's merely sadistic barbaric murder and all the profits go straight back to Israel!

Once again a parasite feeding off us (the host) like the illegal aliens he hires and leaves destruction where ever he sets foot steps! I prey to God since he's gone a stray from his religion that his next locale will be OUTTA this country, ride someone else's coat tail for a while!

Do you see how money talks and BS walks in this country? He's paid/bribed quite a HEFTY gift to republican officials in IA in exchange for them to leave him alone in the mean time manufacturing drugs, the exploitation of children, cheap labor and WORST OF ALL the animals!

The problem here is Mexicans are about the ONLY ones WILLING to work in the Jungle(slaughterhouse) as Spain and Mexico are HIGH on the list for animal abuse via their sports too as they are raised to consider animals as merely a tool for entertainment and food, plain objectified! Many of 'em find amusement in inflicting pain onto them (bull fighting, horse rodeos, etc) all barbaric because of lack of respect and compassion, you can't love a stick, can ya? lol They fit right in and will work CHEAP for their masters taking jobs form union workers of this country along with hurting competition just like Walmart has done(another parasite) yeap the illegal aliens gotta go too we can't afford them we have enough debt!

When I would ask about kosher slaughter, the answer was it was more humane. How can it be more humane if the animal is conscious? I understand there are differences in religion but these are antiquated practices done on a superscale with all the corruption and inefficiencies that go along with factory slaughtering. There is nothing humane about it and it is necessary and appropriate to have videos in ALL slaughterhouses. When you are surrounded by death and cruelty on a daily basis, the soul dies a little each day; people become desensitized. The people who work on the killing floor are in most cases uneducated and in need of these jobs and often come from a cultural difference as it relates to how animals should be treated. I support PETA completely and am grateful to those undercover investigators who must witness the pain and suffereing of G d's beautiful creatures in order to expose such unthinkable torture in order to create change.

I just can tell you once more: go veg and close all slaughterhouses, otherwise we shall never have peace on this earth! the suffering of living beings causes negative waves which are calling death in again and again in different shapes and we shall never have a quiet peaceful life! Agriprocessors should be shut down immediately for there blatant acts of cruelty to cows and chickens. Ripping tracheas out of frightened cows while they are suspended upside down in something so barbaric looking as the Facoima Pen, keeping machinery running while chickens are slaughtered while fully conscious..just a few of the many problems at that despicable place..and not to mention several hundred child and immigration infractions to boot. How does the town of Postville support this insanity is beyond my realm of comprehension. Kosher is just another form of outright cruelty..point blank simple. If i lived in Postville I would be right outside there plant everyday protesting there evilness. People ought not have to kill to make a living but at Agriprocessors, Cruelty is the rule and obviously not the exception. I urge everyone to write to the Governor of Iowa, the USDA, the mayor of Postville and the Iowa Dept. of Agriculture condeming Agriprocessors..and tell everyone you know not to buy there products. Animals feal pain, show fear and appreciate life just as much as you and I do.lets stand up and say enough is enough. Go Vegetarian..feel better about yourself, your body and most importantly feel better knowing that your compassionate heart helped save the animals.

As someone who is not only Jewish but also a defender, rescuer and lover of all animals, I can't fully express the extreme disgust I have for AgriProcessors. I have written letters (all of which were published) to the editorial columns of several local papers, including one Jewish weekly paper, every time there is a news item about AgriProcessors, naming the brand names they sell under (Rubashbin's and Aaron's Best)and explaining why no self-respecting Jew should buy their products. They should absolutely be shut down permanently for their countless and endless violations, between animal cruelty, illegal immigrants and child labor.
Although I consider myself more culturally Jewish than religious (in my opinion, more evil is performed in the name of religion), our belief is generally to hold ourselves to a higher ethic for our responsibilities in the world - so a company like AgriProcessors is anathema to us and a disgrace to themselves. Personally, I think they are a kind of cult. There are no Jews in Postville, Iowa (maybe in ALL of Iowa!) except for the Jewish employees of AgriProcessors and they make up a large segment of the town. That's just weird in and of itself. But it almost is designed for no oversight. So the fact they they have been caught so many times speaks volumes.
With the Holocaust as part of every Jew's history, I would expect a Jewish organization to have more compassion than to create an Auschwitz for animals.

Thanks Shawshank, as you can see by my first post, I am an INTENSE writer and I WRITE WRITE WRITE to IA consistently as politicians tend to be forgetful when it's convenient for them ') but to NO avail as their pockets are NICELY lined with ROBASHKINS gifts of BLOOD MONEY but I STILL tread along.

Letters To The Editor, try every news paper you can find. Put up flyers all around (PETA has an AGRIPROCESSORS flyer on the website)

Boycotting! Also buy from small local facilities/producers if possible and educate yourself fully on the products this way you're also supporting the area you live instead of the greedy corp world

AND

EXPOSURE
Bring in documentation of fraud to every supplier out there. Once the supplier is aware they will pull the product immediately as they sure don't want any scrutiny from consumers especially the kosher community after the fact is known, the suppliers will NOT purchase anymore of the products from ROBASHKIN until they are assured in writing or documentation they are selling authentic products ')

Information to suppliers should explain the front half ONLY of the victim is used for kosher the back end for EVERYONE else so basically it's a FREE FOR ALL a WHOLE (everyone's product except us vegans ')...also mention a mutilating (dirty meat) that started out as kosher ends up in the regular meat supply
labeled under a different name.

Walmart (the OTHER parasite) is one of their suppliers and I learned Whole Foods (another supplier) dropped the product after this expose'

Call around if your uncomfortable exposing physically. This DOES work, I'm having GREAT success in my little corner of the world (south suburbs of Chicago & NW Indiana) and it will in yours too.

The suppliers (that I have got to know VERY well) really do appreciate the fact that you're alerting them of the fraud ')

I am not writing to be inflammatory I just would like to know if any of you can take some of these unwanted horses that are showing up everywhere. The rescues are full, the economy is a mess and people are making some very hard decisions. I have seen the same horse run through 4 different auctions in the last month. I can not take in another. I realize that those who pushed this anti slaughter bill had their hearts in the right place but may not have been aware of the immediate repercussions. Can you please utilize the same effort to help find homes for the large surplus of horses that have no where to live and no where to die. Many of these animals are starving or will be when winter hits. The SPCA and MO. State rep is overwhelmed.
I am sure that many other states are in the same situation.
