I've seen bits of it before, but the overall effect is stunning. Ditch fur, reptile-skin and leather, and adopt eco- and animal-friendly materials (like fashion trailblazer Stella McCartney did).

Wow.
I knew it all. I mean - I've been a PETA member for years and years, so of course I *knew* that leather and so on were bad. But this... this left me speechless.
I've had a hard time giving up leather - meaning I've been lazy and unthinking. This is it for me, though. There is absolutely no way I could wear leather and still say that I love animals after watching that.
I'm horrified by the very shoes on my feet right now.
Ignorance is not bliss. Not for those animals, anyway.
Thank you for posting this.

When I ride I leave the hide...vegileather IS the ticket, SEXIER too ')
Behind every beautiful fur, skin there is a story, a bloody, barbaric story at THAT.
For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other!
PEACE
God Bless The Beasts

i hold in my hand a hemp pouch. It holds various items. In my backpocket is a hemp wallet. On my feet are canvas tennis shoes. Problem solved.

Please think about buying some simple shoes-no leather, no toxic ingredients and all recycled parts-like tyre rubber..we need to spread the word-SIMPLE SHOES..the video was very sad and painful to watch. Am sure most people just have no idea about how animals suffer, thanks.

Excellent work, Peta. Really, I don't know how anyone could remain unmoved after watching this video. May you reach 1 million PLUS viewers.

This sick trade must stop, humans should respect animals and let them live their life like humans.

That is just so wrong. This is truly an atrocity, crimes against nature. All that suffering, brutal abuse and butchering of live animals is so sickening and unimaginable. anyway it took me two tries but i sat through that video. i wanted to cry afterwards.

Every time I watch this or any video of that matter I become sick to my stomach. How can people treat animals this way? They have a heart that beats just like us humans do. It's not fair for them to have to suffer just because leather/fur is a fashionable item or because people eat meat. No wonder people get sick from eating meat at times, look how these animals are treated! It's not right, get over leather, fur, meat, you don't need it in your life to survive!
I will ALWAYS put my fullest effort into getting closer and closer to helping these animals with beating hearts.
Thank You PETA for existing!
