Goodness Gracious, We're Psychic

Last week, we announced our intention to help out financially struggling schools across the country by running our "Got Spew?" ad in school bathroom stalls.
| |
Well, we're now retracting our intention to run the ad. Not everywhere—oh, not by a long shot!—but in Tempe, Arizona, where a spew-y disaster has just taken place.
Earlier this week, some brave fraternity brothers at Arizona State University—and I'm trying to type this without laughing—decided that the coolest, awesomest activity for a Tuesday night would be to go up on a footbridge … and vomit milk onto the traffic below.
My favorite quote from the article? "It is unknown why the men were drinking and vomiting the milk." Maybe it's because they had a revelation mid-chug—that drinking milk promotes the cruelty of the dairy industry and has been linked to impotence. Or maybe it's because it's rush week. One thing is clear, though: Milk and spewing are certainly linked! We hate to say "we told you so," but ….
Whatever the reason, the frat boys' antics have hurt more than the mother cows who produced the milk (and the male calves who are shipped off to veal slaughterhouses). The "joke" has also caused a woman and her daughter to be injured. Another car had stopped short to avoid the vomit (wouldn't you?), and the ladies' car wasn't able to avoid hitting the stopped vehicle. And since we'd never want to make light of their injuries, we're not going to run our ad in Tempe, Arizona.
We think folks in Tempe got the message anyhow.

that's not what i'd call a prank, wasting all that milk and possibly causing an accident. there are better ways to express your distaste of the milk industry than to put people's lives in danger.

They threw up because its supposed to be impossible to drink a gallon of milk in under an hour without spewing.

Humans are not meant to drink cows milk. The fat molecules found in milk are 4 times larger than our cells can properly absorb so the majority of it passes through our systems anyways. There's no point in drinking it. Calcium and other nutrients can be obtained for the body by other means.

The obnoxiously, desparate, cruel dairy industry's milk mustache campagne hit a speed bump last week in NYC, when x number of activists showed up to reveal a truthful picture to the greedy liars, paid to promote this toxic waste. We were outnumbered 3 to 1, but we kicked em to the curb. We ran out em of town and off our city steets in one hour. Yes we were that good.
They didn't get to spin their prize wheel not even once or make a single cowshake. They tried to drown us out with speakers, the fools thought they could actually get away with on a NYC street corner.
We called the cops. They pulled their tents down, their tails between their legs, got in their gas hogs and rode off.
We went HAHAHAHAHAHA all the way home.
Spewwwwwwwww...............!!!

IF MORE PEOPLE ONLY KNEW HOW THE POOR COWS DIE SO YOUNG AT THE DAIRY FARMS, MAYBE THEY WOULD NOT DRINK MILK.

I work on a dairy, I raise sheep, and raise swine and beef cattle, and shame on me!!!! I LOVE ANIMALS!!!! but i believe that animals should be treated humanely not HUMANLY!!! I read an article saying that shearing sheep did not help them, then they turn around and say that if they are not sheared they die of a heat stroke? i shear sheep because if i dont they will end up dead, sheep are more tortured from not being sheared, than being sheared. Then I read something about castration, its birth control for all animals!!!! Docking lambs and pigs tails stops infection! Docking the tail of a lamb when they are first born because they have feeling in their tail at that time it also keeps infection away caused by dingleberries later on, they dock the tails on pigs to keeps the other piglets in the litter from bitting it off when they are nursing! And back to the milk thing, if you dont milk a dairy cow her udder will expand and cause her so much discomfort, and may cause her mammary glands to explode! Im not saying that everybody treats their livestock the way i do but you can't blame everbody for a few peoples problems!

Those "brave" fraternity brothers caused an accident with their little stunt which resulted in injuries to a woman and her young daughter.
Did we forget about that part or do we just not care?
I have a $20 bet with a friend that this comment will never see the light of day.
