Our very own Pam Anderson has auctioned off her Dodge Viper. Why did she give up this super speedy racer? Because she cares more about real reptiles—and all other exotic animals whose skin is torn from their flesh for fashion. (Don't you love the alliteration bug that I caught today?) Pam has pledged to give the proceeds from the auction to PETA so that we can use the money to inform people who think that they might want a reptile-skin bag about how these amazing animals are treated when they're converted from captivating creatures to cruel clothing. (There I go again!)

Snake skin and alligator skin—heck, all animal skin—were designed for the original occupants' use only. Several thousand years of evolution went into making their scales and hides fit them beautifully—not some misguided fashionista who's going for the "I just got kicked off the island" look.

The world is desperate for more talented people like Anderson to educate people on the value and beauty of "exotic" animals. Once celebs get the word out, the general public will have more scientific saavy about it and will make better choices.

Pam, may you be blessed! Thank you!

This must make people stop and think. If beautiful Pamela can have the heart and soul to stick up for reptiles who alot of people regard as "nuisance" or appalling (unless their dead). So can everyone eles! This is a huge voice for the them. How many people in this world would go that extra mile!? Way to go , Pam!!

Pam is doing exactly what my number 1 dream is: that is, to be extraordinarily famous for the sole purpose of animal-liberation. I hope she is aware of how much PETA members are so grateful for all her efforts, which are non-stop and continuous.

FANTASTIC! Snakes are wonderful creatures and have a very important role on this Earth! Good luck in the BB house this week Pam. You're welcome to drop in when you're in Aus :)

Pamela is generous with her time & hard earned money to those in desperate need, the defenseless voiceless victims of our planet.

She doesn't have to which makes it all the more appreciated. Thanks for setting an example that I wish other self centered 'stars' would follow. We have enough human rights celebrity causes, what we need are more people speaking out about animal rights. We still have so far to go to make a dent, but Pamela has done more than any other celebrity in my opinion.
