Some Records Shouldn't Be Broken

From the "turnabout is fair play" department—and from an Israeli Web site called PetKaput.com—comes a video that dares to imagine what would happen if some role reversal were to happen in the notorious Chinese fur trade. The result is somehow creepier than all the Saw and Hostel films put together—and yet weirdly funny too. Not David Cross or Amy Sedaris funny, but—well, I can't really explain it; you just have to watch:
Ouch! Admittedly, it's a little disturbing, but keep in mind that it's only animation, so no one was actually hurt in the making of it (unfortunately, the same can't be said for the video that inspired it).

admittedly the China fur trade is truly horrendous.. but the bare bones of the truth is.. is that Chinese fur farms or these pelts are exported mainly for the European and US trade.. it's a fact.. yes.. it's all you fur loving wearing women in the west that are supporting this ghastly torturous trade.. or where there is no smoke there is no fire.. it's all okay finger pointing at the gruesome CHina fur trade but who are the people stoking up all this trade ?.. (bye the bye the other fur farms in Europe/US and elsewhere ain't that much better much either.. anal electrocution is pretty horrendous too so is neck breaking and gassing) and ALL fur farms house animals in tiny cages.. regardless where the fur comes from .. eventually it cuts down to trying to urge the designers to 'cut it out'.. and to educate all these fur loving women why they shoudl stop buying/wearing fur..
the finger points at THEM also.. THEY share the BLAME!!! ie. supply and demand.. no demand.. no supply.. the equation really is that simple.. but regrettably.. reality isn't like that.. the designers and women just luuurve their animal skins and furrrrrs.. and dont' think even once how these furs came about.. they are heartless!!! maybe you should do a video on heartless fur wearing women and show the cruel fur trade THEY are supporting.. same goes to the men too.. becuase a lot of parka men's jackets have fur trim.. and it's JUST as bad! yes.. even children's wear.. and figurine toys have real animals furs..

If only one human could experience this barbaric practice then maybe it would stop FOR GOOD, and yes the chinese are the worst the most barbaric the most evil..shameful the olympic commitee chose to award them the prize....maybe the fur farms should be a tour event....and watch them all board planes home never to set foot in that country again...I for one would never
grant them excuses the chinese people who care need to stop this and we as humans MUSGT STAND UP AND STOP THIS FOREVER...GOD HELP THESE ANIMALS GOD HELP THIS EVILNESS TO END

This is sick! What a disturbing video. It sort of is funny because there have bben serial killers who have killed humans and wear the skins as masks, and clothing (not just in the movies, it really has happened!)
It really is easy to point the finger at a culture that provides something so many buy, why not point the finger at the ppl who want to buy it instead. I am pretty sure that there is nobody on the planet that is perfect, so why judge ppl so strictly? Are you trying to say you are better? Well let me tell you, you can be better at something then someone else, but you can never be better then someone else, if you think that you are for any reason at all, then in reality you are a worse person than everyone!

The reason fur farms exist is because people in wealthy capitalist countries demand it. They don't just kill animals for fun. If there is no demand for fur, no fur farms. Insulting China brings you nowhere.

WELL WRITTEN POST ANTIFUR1, AND ALL OF YOU WHO ARE AGAINST THIS HORRIBLE TORTURE. WE ARE NOT LIVING IN THE CAVEMAN DAYS. WE DO NOT NEED TO BE KILLING DEFENSELESS ANIMALS FOR THEIR FUR AND SKINS.

The thing I find disturbing is people finding it funny?

LETS SEE IF MY COMMENT WILL GET POSTED THIS TIME. I WILL TRY AN TONE IT DOWN FOR PETA. IN CHINA THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO SENCE OF FEELINGS FOR ANIMAL SUFFERING, IF THEY DID, THEY WOUOD NOT COOK ANIMALS ALIVE EITHER IN BOILING WATER OR OVER ANY OPEN FIRE, THEY SAY IT MAKES THE MEAT TENDER, NO ANIMAL DESERVES TO DIE IN THIS MATTER. AND THEY WOULD NOT TAKE DOGS AND CATS STARVE THEM AND ABUSE THEM, JUST TO SKIN THEM ALIVE ONLY TO PUT THEIR FUR ON A CERAMIC FIGURE OF A DOG OR A CAT. OH YA! THAT'S REAL COMPASION FOR ANIMALS. THE THESE FACTS CAME FROM MY YEARS OF SUPPORT FOR PETA.

I was not happy to hear that china has won the prize to host the olyimpics it just saddens me and makes me so sick to my stomack to think that china will do its best to hide its fur industry and knowing they sell to Europe and the west just makes me even more sick. These dogs and cats were pets stolen from homes its just barbaric and horrific of it all. I hope peta gets the word out during the olympics and put such pressure on the chiniese gov. to put a stop to the fur trade And to encourage the ppl of china that hate this fur trade in their country to stand up and speak out against this barbaric horror. This gov. has done nothing but instill fear into its ppl but fear can't stand when the ppl rise up and demand change in protests it just chills the chinese gov. when a protest happens and its keeps happening. Please ppl of china stand against this awful and barbaric trade animals feel pain and fear and everything we humans feel. I am glad I live in the U.S.A.
