According to the movie blog Horror Yearbook, a small group of independent moviemakers are getting strongarmed by KFC into abandoning their project.

Classy stuff, KFC. Really classy. Check it out here.

I guess it’ll probably never get made now, but I think the movie looks effing rad.

Well I think it was a great idea, it could have informed alot of people about KFC- aka Kentucky Fried Cruelty.
KFC is promoting animal cruelty with how they get their food from Tyson.

You know...Price Chopper sells quite a bit of Tyson.
Anyone else think we should inform them?

anYway the bilboard looks creepy . May be it will get people so scared they won't want to eat at kfc . oh and people don't curse.

I guess KFC didn't have a problem when John Landis made "The Kentucky Fried Movie" back in 77.

I can see them having a problem with the poster (even though there is truth behind it), but come on, this movie has nothing to do with the crimes they commit day after day.

IT'S ENTERTAINMENT!!!

KFC doesn't have to worry about a movie casting their image in a bad light. They do that to themselves.

The truth is out there. Time to pack it in KFC. Time to pack it in.

Hey, it grabbed their attention!! And it won't stop, KFC!! I say on with the movie and on with changing to CAK! Well, at least choose one or the other. Pieces of human, pieces chicken... Nothing depicts the horrors then the inside of KFC slaughter houses and in there is no Hollywood script!

Posted by: Carla | January 17, 2008 11:28 AM

I often wonder how people who work in these killing houses can live with them selves.
And what kind of people they are in their lives away from the killing they do. I wonder how they justify to them selves what they do.
This video answers some of my questions. The man on this video is angry with the bird so he takes it out on the other birds. Does he hate him self for what he does and takes it out on the birds cus he is a very deeply disturbed person. I am so very sorry for all the suffering that goes on every day at the hands of humans.
Go Vegan, stop the madness.

This picture alone, speaks a million words.
Kentucky Fried Cruelty is 3 of them.
These brave folks should be able to continue on with their film.
Where the hell did our freedom to express go?
I'll give you one guess.
It's a nut and it's home is in the White House.
KFC must answer for this.

The picture and title looks and sounds cool. Probably would have been an interesting cool film. KFC seems so determined to keep their nasty image under wraps.

Great comment!!!

Carla you ask how people who torture animals live with themselves? It's easy: they are like serial killers- with zero empathy. It's the same kind of people who were capable of burning 6 million Jews in ovens and starving them during the Holocaust. The same kind who supported slavery. People are disgusting. I'm so glad Colonel Sanders is 6 feet under. . .now if the KFC chain would go under life would be better!!

Maybe PETA should use it's power as a shareholder of YUM, parent company of KFC,to stop this practice

stop the lies

That's right, stop the lies. The real terrorists are those killing the chickens for KFC.

Judith,

The White House has nothing to do with this. KFC is a corporation that used its money to apply pressure. The First Amendment only applies to state action in suppressing speech or expression, and since no government actor did anything in relation to this movie, your comment makes no sense.

If the filmmakers want to carry on, they can. They have that right. If KFC wants to sue, they have that right, too. But so far, none of this involves the government.

if a chickens life is so important to you then go adopt one and see how much you love it in 3 or 4 weeks i think you might see that they don't have great existence anyway. And the weird movie titles don't work that well they make peta look like a bunch of nuts we wouldn't want that now would we.
