This amazing frightening and artistically high class 'stunt' is erecting the hair on my back and I just hope that it shall freeze some of the evil doers who are murdering helpless animals like on that picture - ruthless shameless barbarian monsters!

Posted by: Don Quijote | January 18, 2008 05:21 PM

i hate burberry. how bout we skin their relatives? see how they like it

Posted by: Amber Falobas | January 18, 2008 06:32 PM

Will Burberry ever get it?
They are as bad as that monster bitch at VOGUE.
I keep calling and asking nicely to loose the fur.
They say that they will give the message to someome, sure they will.
By the way, I think you look beautiful up there.

Posted by: Joe | January 18, 2008 07:13 PM

Good for you, lone ghost! With people like you around, maybe Burberry will still get the point one day. Thank God for the "crazies" who make it happen!

Haha, is that a customer? Funny. Ugh, that picture is horrid.

Posted by: K | January 18, 2008 10:33 PM

hey! burberry apesta!, eso no es moda ,es estupidez, pero uno puede hacer la diferencia, aplaudo tu entusiasmo por pararte frente a la tienda con esa pancarta!!!! fur is death!

Posted by: paola palacios | January 19, 2008 02:26 PM

Posted by: nati | January 19, 2008 06:32 PM

JOE, I'm sure you max out your sad little credit cards to buy clothes at Bloodberry to feel like someone but it doesn't conceal your ugliness and repugnance.

I come from money and buy clothes in the mall that I think look nice or stylish. I don’t need a name brand for self worth (such an UGLY name brand at that) you do though.

Only a degenerate would insult less fortunate people.

P.S. Before you talk about money go back to grade school because there is an “e” in clothes.

EVERYONE!!! Don’t forget to send your email to the CEO and try to get a demonstration in your area at Burberry. =P

FUR IS EVIL!!!

Posted by: Beatrice | January 19, 2008 10:42 PM

I cannot stand burberry! Im a vegetarian and it sux to know that stupid people are killing animals for stupid stuff. Maybe if we shave the heads off of every last person who makes burberry they could get just a mere glimpse of how it feels=^)

Posted by: Christina | January 19, 2008 11:56 PM

I just want to say that I stopped buying anything from any store that sells furs and I keep telling them why I stopped

Posted by: elena tripatzi | January 20, 2008 02:18 AM

It's not people with money who go there. Its actually people with great ( and I mean great) ignorance or insensitivity. (the non-thinkers)

Posted by: Von | January 20, 2008 11:33 AM

Burberry is for animal killers. I will never shop there.

Posted by: R | January 20, 2008 10:49 PM

their stuff looks nice but i just can't buy something from a company who supports such and awful industry. i wanted to buy a scarf last year but i refuse to until they drop fur.

Posted by: byemystaryeyes | January 21, 2008 02:08 AM

that costume is awesome!

im glad someone is taking a stand for animals!

burberry is a wicked and evil business, and I hope they get the message soon cause there is no reason to
kill animals for fur anymore!

anyone who wears fur all deserve to die!

Posted by: krämslick | January 22, 2008 02:50 AM

SO SAD I WILL NOT BE BUYING ANYTHING FROM THERE

Posted by: donna | January 22, 2008 04:01 AM

It saddens me that there are so many people in the world like Joe that could care less about another living being and what they suffer. I think we need to get the message out there more. We need to make sure EVERYBODY knows about what Burberry is doing. I can't say I am an extreme vegan or anything like that but one thing I know is that I will never wear fur because what those animals have been through breaks my heart and I wouldn't be able to wear a fur coat knowing what it took to make that coat

Posted by: Caboose | January 22, 2008 02:36 PM

Thanks to PETA and its many supporters, Burberry is being exposed for what it is, a company that simply does not give a damn.

It was a blast demonstrating against Burberry at Scottsdale Fashion Square alongside PETA's women "dressed" in plaid. Along with the great media coverage, we received assurances from at least one Burberry customer that she'd no longer shop there. We asked her to please write to Burberry telling them this. She had made a U-turn to drive back to the demonstration after having seen "Burberry" on our signs. PETA rep, Mike Brazell, gave her the scoop.

Hitting these companies right in the 'ol pocketbook seems to be what makes the stubborn ones like Burberry change their ways. Hopefully Burberry will soon see that even their once loyal customers are thinking twice before patronizing such a blatantly uncaring company.

Posted by: V | January 22, 2008 03:02 PM

good for you, theres so many people who just don't care, yesterday me and my sister were shopping and we seen two ladies wearing fur coats and went up to them and said something!!!! stand up for what you believe in!!!!

Posted by: Courtnie Kalleward | January 22, 2008 03:19 PM

Joe, Joe, Joe. Honestly, Burberry is now a classless outfit anyway. It has become too cliche' to be classic any longer. Anyway....unfortunately, as long as there is money to be made in fur, there are stores who will sell their souls to the devil and continue to sell fur. It is up to the consumer to say "no." Only then will it stop. Money is much more important to human beings than morality or compassion or kindness. Burberry is a "has been" store with all of their pseudo British "class act" plaid. Give me a break. I am not suprised that they continue to sell fur. It is a sign of uneducated trash to wear or sell fur. Only a truly deviant human being would put a fur on their body knowing the horror. When I saw the video of a skinned fox still breathing and looking around I was too disturbed to sleep. The customers and the store are scum. But, no one cares what I think or what you think as long as the dough is rolling in. I have said it before and I will say it again. May God help us all. Oh, except for you Burberry. May you crash and burn. And believe me, you will.

Posted by: Lori | January 22, 2008 10:04 PM

Burberry is for thick as fuck chavs who just want to look cool and show off, when they dont give a damn about the pain animals have been through to get their 'designer' brand.

Joe, your a fucking saddo!

Posted by: LeeneeBABY | January 23, 2008 08:19 AM

Dear Isabel A Soto:

Nice is a relative term, and most people who support PETA and its mission don't consider animals used for vanity to be nice. Also, studies have shown that, typically, vegetarians are among the better-educated portion of society. This is clearly evidenced by your inability to spell "clothes." Should you take a moment to educate yourself, you might rethink the position that Burberry's clothes are "nice."

Amy

Posted by: Amy | January 23, 2008 01:28 PM

Burberry gets supplied it they dont kill it.
They keep it because people buy it if they didnt buy it then they wouldnt keep it.

If i went to jus look around i wouldnt want to see that but it wouldnt stop me goin in to see what the fuss is about.

Im a vegetarian but i think that is over the top and disgusting, It just puts people off joining peta,

i agree we shouldnt buy fur but millions people wear leather but noone makes a fuss,

Theres other ways to promote.

Lizzie

Posted by: Babee x | January 23, 2008 02:32 PM

If you do not want to be involved in any acts of exploitation or torture, then do not wear any animal based products (clothes, make up etc). It is difficult and I used to wear wool but after seeing what happens to sheep in Australia, I have to be really careful what I buy. It does get easier to check what to buy but those who do not care are closed hearted and not completely human. As for money, I am fortunate enough to live in comfort but would NEVER buy from a company that is aware of where its goods comes from, but does not care either way. Shame on you Burberry.

Posted by: Joanna | January 23, 2008 05:17 PM

Babee X/Lizzie,
re: your post on Jan. 23, 2008 02:32 PM Im a vegetarian but i think that is over the top and disgusting...:

Great that you're a vegetarian and in doing so are making a true difference, although I have to disagree with you on the demonstration being disgusting. If it's the poster depicting the furless creature that you find disgusting, I'm with you about feeling disgusted, although we part ways in that yours seems to be directed at the organization that works tirelessly to expose the fur industry's sick practices. It is the fur industry that is responsible for such disgusting brutality; PETA is merely reporting and documenting what the fur industry is up to.

The fur industry is a disgusting way of making a living. No animal deserves to be killed merely for the fact that he/she has something we humans do not have: fur.

Posted by: V | January 23, 2008 05:58 PM

Just because you dont agree with all PETA does, doesnt mean what they do doesnt help. Not everyone agreed with the vietnam protesters but eventually everyone realized we shouldnt of been there. You know. Anyways after I seen videos of animals being skinned alive at these fur farms I dont think I have ever been more disturbed and distgusted. Something needs to be done to stop the fur trade and show people what really goes on. The human race is completely raping this planet in every way. That is why we need orginizations like PETA. If a change isnt made soon then maybe it is best if we destroy ourselves. All of us who are good need to stand up and fight the evil before its too late.

Posted by: mike | January 23, 2008 06:38 PM

Can people please respond to the correct comments??

Isabel A Soto is the one ABOVE the idiot who said "...but Burberry has such nice stuff! Only poor people who can't afford their cloths complain." That brilliant comment (sarcasm) was from "Joe". Isabel's comments are against Burberry.

Posted by: Michele | January 23, 2008 09:21 PM

Babee x, no-one(beyond purists) makes a fuss over leather because it is mainly a by-product of the meat industry and would otherwise be a waste. Quite different to being killed for only your coat and nothing else. Even worse to be killed without humane slaughter practices.

Posted by: rojo | January 24, 2008 08:19 AM

Lizzie,

I think there is a strong focus on fur for two reasons. First, fur sales are not a frequent and widespread, so they are easier to attack. Because PETA has to start somewhere, fur is a good step in the right direction. Also, leather is a byproduct of the meat industry, so cows do not die specifically for the hide. I don't agree with the use of leather either, but the use is so widespread, it is likely that the elimination of the use of leather is going to be a much larger task than the elimination of fur. But I would recommend contacting PETA to ask one of its representatives why the focus is placed more on fur than leather rather than dismissing their passion and efforts.

My apologies to Isabel. Please redirect the comment to Joe. Thank you, Michele.

Can anyone spell K-A-R-M-A
It is what makes the world go round.
Selling yourself to the Devil,----
-- it's not just a silly saying.
What goes around, does come back around.
Thank you PETA--Your dessert awaits you, in Heaven, you are truley a God send here on earth. Your hard work and effective dedication is truely remarkable.

Posted by: Leisa Clark | January 25, 2008 08:53 AM

This just breaks my heart!!, how can anyone live with themselves knowing what they are doing, if their children were to see this disgust, then maybe they would have a change of heart, I will never support anyone involved in cruelty to animals, Burberry should be ashamed of themselves along with Vogue, thier just self-righteous assholes who need to be held accountable for thier actions, I am so glad that PETA has been on board to take them down!!!!

Posted by: Ev | January 25, 2008 09:31 AM

pinches mierdas los de BURBERRY. ya tire las cosas que tenia de ellos despues de ver los videos. BURBERRY KILLS. mexico apoya a PETA

Posted by: Daniel ll | March 29, 2008 09:42 PM

Um... Nati? It wasn't Joe who said that. It was the comment ABOVE Joe's that commented on money! Anyways... FUR IS DEAD! However, I think that we will have to wait until the new generation takes over before we will see a change. Many companies that use fur are not stopping fur usage because many customers still buy their clothing.

Posted by: Cleo | April 1, 2008 10:08 PM

I am a fur & leather wearer, chicken eater etc and i was appauled by the videos i saw(i also dig burberry). I wanted to say, however, why dont you all attack the legislature that ALLOWS the cruelty instead of calling the weareres bit*&$s and walruses? That doesnt hurt them at all and it doesnt save ONE anmal. People wont stop wearing fur because it is glamourous and warm and beautiful. I could lie but I wont...Im not going to stop shopping at Burberry, wearing fur or leather, I may stop eating chicken but your motives, while seemingly pure, leave your efforts misdirected. Its stupied to throw paint on someones coat after the animal has already been killed. why not use he donations to fight for humane processes?? This attac is useless and a few celebrities posing naked saying fur is bad is NOT gonna stop people from buying fur and neither will calling me whatever names are pending, I wear fur cause I like it. If the animals were put to sleep (as humans are) that would be humane, why not point your energy in that direction instead of attacking people who are NOT cruel to animals? That poor treatment comes from greed, thats the root, not Aretha Franklin or the desperate housewife chick. Mink rocks

PETA-people eating tasty animals :)

I found the phone number for Burberry and called them and asked them to stop killing animals.
They hung up on me.

poor people who cant afford clothes complain?
well i know that i'm happy of not being able to afford fur and if i were to afford fur would never buy it in my life.
Burberry is not getting a sale out of me!

Posted by: Claudia Jovel | April 4, 2008 01:26 PM

I never knew that all of Burberry's furs were real, i have shopped there in the past and will never again untill they stop using real fur. The only people who stil like fur are old stuffy ladies and people who find it fun to wear poor minks on their backs, but those people need to realise that the times are changing and before they know it, their presious fur wont be sold anywhere

Posted by: Karysha Jones | April 6, 2008 05:23 PM

for somebody to say that only poor people complain about burberry because they can not afford it is as sick as the one that kill the poor animal for food, you are not only rich but estupid and ignorant, where is the compasion, if you feel this way why are you in the Peta site idiot, the site is for people concern about animals wellbeing

Posted by: Alfredo | April 10, 2008 09:01 PM

nicole-
then what the hell are you doing on a PETA site!? ANYWAY, people that wear and buy fur are as much culprits and killers as the fur industry themselves. We expend money on somthing that was once attached to the skeleton of something ALIVE.
imagine someone saying:
"do YOU wear human skin??? yeah i heard its all the rage!"
lmao thats basically what all fur wearers are doing, buying DEATH.

Posted by: sara bohack | April 25, 2008 09:24 AM

Hello, I´m Laura, I was thinking about some videos that are shown in blodyburberry.com, as the subject matters too much for me, I think that the person who has entered to that "farm" was allowed by someone so I can trust that person, and whats more, if the killing of animals matters for the person who was filming, instead of not having any success he could have tried to open the cages, Ithink that if I were in his/her place I would ´ve tried!!!
kisses,
Laura

Posted by: Laura | April 26, 2008 09:45 PM

I've been vegan for almost 4 years now and I am so disgusted by the things people do for fashion and popularity. I can understand the people who eat meat who are ignorant to the cruelty the animals endure, but the people who have a clue and don't care are just stupid and heartless. I don't see how anyone could be so cruel. There are many students at my high school who make fun of the vegetarians and vegans and I just can't believe the things they say. Cruelty is NOT funny! It IS a big deal! And it DOES have an affect on people who have brains. People who don't even care about animal cruelty when they see it are seriously insane. Arn't human beings supposed to have feelings and emotions? Can't they see how these animals are suffering? Are they really that blind to what is real?
The people at Burberry are so persistent to stay blind to what is real just so they can all go home to their big mansions and sleep on a bed of cash and feel good about themselves because their company made 12 million dollars this week. They are SICK! and not only that, they have to be the STUPIDEST people to ever walk the earth. Money is the true evil. Money keeps people like this so blind to the fact that they are killing animals for NOTHING! I think pouring paint on their furs and making signs and advertisements are all fine and ok. But if these people are so persistent to stay ignorant, they are never going to stop. It's a sad thing, but i believe that nothing can help save these animals. The only way is to stop everyone from buying their stocks... but we've already learned by now that this is not as easy as it sounds.
Everyday more and more people become aware of this evil and are stopping themselves from being apart of it. That is what really counts. People are learning. And someday maybe everyone will.

Posted by: Chelsea | April 29, 2008 06:09 PM

those skinners! No matter how I try to look at it it still disgusts me. They are worthless, filty, horrid, disgusting people, and deserved to be skinned themselves. I say we should all go and riot at Burberry! Free the animals! Brun the machines! Flick with the law; they didn't fight burberyy; that fox in the video is ENDANGERED! DIE, BURBERRY SCUM OF THE EARTH!

Posted by: Dragonchampion | May 2, 2008 12:21 PM

Funny considering the circumstances. But on the other hand, rather sad, How they kill animals is just terrible. I mean, honestly, we would be charged with 3rd degree murder is we did HALF the stuff they did to those animals. This is coming from the mind of a 13 year old, and I have more sense than those jerks at Burberry.

Posted by: Helana | May 5, 2008 03:10 PM

I'm truly upset, over yet more fur stories...

Seeing the videos of how these poor, cure, innocent animals are murdered and treated by these bastards makes me angry.

I was educated like most of us , meaning it's inexcusable to bring harm on any other living creature for financial amongst other gain.

When people who still wear fur coats get dressed, can I ask you all something. Do you see the skinned yet still alive animal dripping with blood looking in dispair what's more, what do it's eyes tell you ?????

last but not least, to me anything fur is so out of fasion its not funny. your supporting and furthermore promoting animal cruelty.

I certainly hope you suffer 1000 deaths.

Posted by: Peter Johnson | May 11, 2008 05:56 AM

Nicole dear.
you're part of the problem. the ignorant ones. the ones who could care less. the ones without the hearts to see that fur KILLS animals. not hurts, not scars, not scratches, not bruises. KILLS, MAIMS, TORTURES. how would you like to be killed on the street for the fur that you wear? ignorant people are the problem.

Posted by: Taylor | May 12, 2008 03:30 PM

mabey we should cage and electracute them and feed their carcases to each other

Posted by: Mathias | May 14, 2008 09:58 AM

I can't believe this it's horriable, I HATE them!

Posted by: Jasmin | May 18, 2008 06:28 PM

Once I was at this fund raiser and they had restaurants from all over the city bring their finest soups. I had a big bowl of soup and there was a lady wearing a fur vest in front of me. Of course, I felt it first to make sure it was real, and then I wiped my soup on the back. She was old and didn't even notice! Also, when I see someone wearing fur I go "Excuse me, but is that real fur?" and if they say no, I say "Good for you, ma'am/sir" but if they say yes, I scoff and say, "That is disgusting. Good day." Heheheh... by the way, I'm about to be old enough to join Peta2's street team! I'm gonna get so involved...

Posted by: Claire | June 10, 2008 08:19 AM

Well, you know what? I bet that "Joe" person is some rich fag that cares about himself and money. I believe that he deserves to get skinned alive himself, see how it feels...OH, nevermind I think he should get tortured by Shion from Higurashi!!!

Posted by: Sakki | June 17, 2008 06:33 AM

All of you people against Burberry need to get a life! If you don't like or agree with their way of conducting business then don't pay any attention to their product. Your protesting is giving them a ton of free publicity. I don't agree with PETA, but you don't see me out protesting against that - that is because I have a job that I have to go to every day! I hate to burst your bubble, but I don't think a few tree huggers are going to change the way Burberry does business! Back to work I go!
