Zac Posen is a New York fashion designer who still uses fur in his designs, which—pathetic as that is—wouldn’t be worth mentioning right now if it weren’t for the fact that, by a delightful twist of fate, PETA’s New York office has the same phone number that Zac’s mom used to have. Which leads to some pretty amusing conversations.
I got a kick out of that when my friend Michael (who works out of our New York office) told me the story, and I guess The New York Daily News did too, when he told them. You can read their coverage here. Priceless.

Except why would Vanity Fair and fashion magazines be calling Zac Posen's **mother**??
Did he leave mommy's number as a second number to reach him at or something??

Little Zac's mom is the CEO of his company.
Something tells me that Zac's mom is also guiding his fashion direction, toward fond memories of the 1950s suburban housewife with the pounds-adding fur.

True beauty reveals from within and for this, one has to possess a beautiful mind & a kind heart. So killing innocent animals and other lovely creatures for beautification by fur, leather/feather does not yield that beauty and it actually results in degradation of human values.
We must avoid all fashion shows when models would be dressed with furs/leathers/feathers.

PETA isn't "using" phone numbers. They have been assigned a disconected number that use to belong to that man's mother.
