Despite some of the morbid rituals that it’s often associated with, Thanksgiving has long been my very favorite holiday, because (unlike its overrated rival, Christmas) you don’t have to buy anybody presents for it. There are also not one, but two football games on Thanksgiving, which gives the day another powerful edge over the more popular December holiday (which is often embarrassingly devoid of sporting events), and its central theme—eating—is simple, but consistently satisfying. So, I put it to you that Thanksgiving is in fact the greatest holiday of all—or it would be, if they could only get over that whole unfortunate turkey thing. For more on that, check out this awesome ad we made a little while back to encourage people to give turkeys a break on Thanksgiving Day.

J-A-C-K! This is inappropriate! Christmas is way better! You take it back (or I'm telling everyone you gave me a Christmas snowman - whoops, already did).

Awe, this advert is so cute, especially when you see the poor little bird, even he or she is terrified trying to make the announcement.

Good one again PETA and just love you Ingrid!!!!

They are both ridiculous holidays! Santa who? Oh and let's thank the natives whom we almost wiped out in one of the biggest genocides!

Classic! A little humor always helps get the message across.

Do you watch CFL! Canadian Football Legue, Okay I know it may be a joke for you guys out there in America but since you love football and all I just have to tell you! First off I no longer follow Atlanta, used to like them until Mr. Vick ruined it! Now with that out of the way, It's the "Grey Cup" this weekend, Sunday, in Toronto 5:00pm eastern standard time. Please check it out! It's the first time in history of the CFL that the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are meeting up with the under dogs, lol, the Saskatewon Rough Riders! Thats been that long that even our Great grandparents never seen the two together competing for the Cup. And those two teams have the Biggest fans , only four teams in each division but hey it's an exciting time for us. While everybody is celebrating Thanksgiving in the U.S. this is our happy place. You won't be disappointed!! Long live animals, Ingrid, all the compassionate people in this world, Jack and Football(minus the bad apples of the football league)

Get rid of both holidays and Jack can work those days instead of having them off.

Gotta LOVE it. GoVeg! This should be aired on network TV before the Christmas genocide, er, feast. Have a turkey AND a pig doing the ad!

This is a great message. I love the humor. The sad part is, this is totally true. So sad that Americans still eat this way. Keep it up Peta!
