Or maybe it’s fox. Either way, a whole lot of them had to die so that the aging Stone could wear her desperation on her sleeve on the red carpet yesterday. I hate to give this photo any ink at all, as I’m sure the only reason Stone wore the hideous wrap was because she’s having trouble getting any meaningful attention these days. And because she’s total trash.

Sharon_Stone_in_a_family_of_foxes.jpg

And fyi, it’s not just that Stone is uneducated on this issue. She knows that animals suffer horribly when they are killed for their fur. We’ve written, called, sent videos, you name it. She just doesn’t care. She is, as my friend Joel puts it, just a horrible human being.

There are just three possibilities: either this woman is a monster or a complete idiot or the two other possibilities together! Disgusting - revolting - awful! Shame on this evil, stupid, unerotic person!!! You make us feel STONE-COLD!!!

OH, My Goodness!! She's a "FREAK" and she even watched the video and still choose to wear fur!! She just lost all my respect not that she had any to begin with. I always knew she was an uncompassionate, self-centered, human-being!!

Posted by: Carla | October 29, 2007 12:24 PM

You know, they are a lot of people in the world just like her,, they have no concept of life, they just think about one thing, themselves, i feel sorry for her and more sorry about the torture she has infliced on aniamls,,, her name says it all,, stone in feelings, i do believe in karma. She will have bad karma,, maybe that will stop her?

You know that perimated tarts (those which the beggars get in the evening shortly before the shops' closure) are cheap! This tart here is free of charge because the worms have already feasted on her brains!

Posted by: Rose of Sherwood | October 29, 2007 12:41 PM

She looks like a washed-up wrinkled old lady, who DOES NOT like herself one bit!

She actually reminds me of the ice-witch-queen from the movie, The Chronicles of Narnia.

Has anyone done a side-by-side photo comparison?

Posted by: Carolyne Williams | October 29, 2007 12:53 PM

Sharon Stone, you old bitch.
Why are you wearing this fur.
Disgusting.

Posted by: Mike | October 29, 2007 01:01 PM

In completion to her disgusting image i have to join that she is a spokesperson of the WildLife WayStation! Go to have a look on that site! Poor Sharon Stone - Altzheimer disease is eating you faster than the snows of kilimandjaro are melting!!!

Sorryu, AmFar. If this is the kind of person you want promoting you, I'm off your donation list.

This woman makes AmFar look slweazy and desperate.

Posted by: kelly | October 29, 2007 02:42 PM

Sharon Stone is stupid and desperate. We went to an opening of the movie "Milarepa" at Universal and she was announced to introduce Neten Chokling Rinpoche, the buddhist director of the movie. I swear half of the audience gagged when she started to babble about buddhism and tried to be funny ("I had lunch with a Llama! Who else could say they just had lunch with a real Llama?!"). Sharon Stone was so uncool, unfunny, fake and out of line. Buddhism and Sharon Stone mixes like oil and water, it just doesn't. If she'd truly revere buddhism she'd follow the Dalai Lama's advice to not wear fur.
But let's just ignore her, that hurts the most. Besides, she hates to age and time won't be kind to her.

Posted by: Celestine | October 29, 2007 02:58 PM

It just rounds up the impression I already had of her...
She is an old, unattractive, selfish cold-hearted witch that should go to hell!!!
Despite of this, what was she famous for again? This one movie with Michael Douglas more than ten years ago? I think the old crow needs attention.
Wearing fur is a poor choice - she should have gone without make-up - after all it is Halloween time, am I right?

Posted by: Berrin | October 29, 2007 02:59 PM

Ugly desperate Sharon has a "heart" made of stone; even her facial features are harsh and cold. UGLY!!!!

I don't know but this world is full of monsters like this woman. The men kill in the fur farm and the bad women wear the skins.

I heard a story years ago where she was invited to an AIDS benefit thing and made up some story to get out of it. (Believe me, the story was a little better when I wasn't telling it.) I wasn't sure whether it was true until now, but anybody who would wear something like this is clearly capable of doing many other evil things as well. What a desperate hag.

Posted by: Canaduck | October 29, 2007 04:04 PM

All the unspeakable torture suffered by these murdered foxes has already sunken in through the pores of her skin. That suffering is now part of her and it will fester on for years to come.
The meaning of compassion, for this woman, is literally skin deep!

Nothing is more appalling, then to see someone who could use their celebrity to do good but decides instead to walk the path of the unrightous. God Bless the Pamela Andersons and the Alex Baldwins and all the GOOD celibrities of the world for theirs is the path to life.

Posted by: Kimberly | October 29, 2007 04:20 PM

have any of you ever considered anyone's else's personal views. we may not all agree with the fur, but have you thought about how in primative times people would have died without the use of fur, and you wouldnt be here. i dont think thats so heartless. she has different opinions and views and calling her ugly makes you look bad. so stop and accept people for once.

Posted by: acd | October 29, 2007 04:25 PM

So Sad.... I thought she was a member of MENSA? For someone with a genius IQ she does not seem very smart. maybe she simply does not care...it's heartbraking

Posted by: dawn | October 29, 2007 04:46 PM

acd: do you know how these animals are killed? it's you who has an ugly heart too - because you are still living in primitive times exactly like stone - stone-age people are not anymore tolerated in our times because killing animals in that way is not just cruel and uncivilized but criminal! forcing other people to live in a criminal world makes this planet sink deeper and deeper and the head- and heartless twolegged beasts are not even getting aware of it!!!

Umm, yeah but NOW we torture the animals for their skin which we don't even need anymore...especially her. If she's a celebrity she can definitely waste her money on somthing that wasn't tortured to wear.

Posted by: Yuri | October 29, 2007 04:53 PM

Ugly old bitch. This hag should just go home. Nobody wants to see her Z-list mug anymore. I think she wears the fur to cover her saggy boobs.
Sharon "Heart of" Stone FOR SURE.

Posted by: J | October 29, 2007 06:31 PM

At her age, I guess, she can no longer get attention by showing her OWN fur. And it's not like she could ever get anywhere on talent.

Posted by: Bill | October 29, 2007 06:35 PM

>>and calling her ugly makes you look bad. so stop and accept people for once.<<

Calling Stone ugly makes one look like a good judge of attractiveness. Back when she made Total Recall, Sharon Stone was hot; but she's really let herself go since then.

As for accepting people, I don't accept cruelty, whether it's motivated by hatred or by desperation to get attention and resurrect a career.

Each organization is fighting for a finite amount of funds. Amfar is a great organization. I'm sure they were thrilled to have Ms. Stone as a spokesperson. Unfortunately Ms. Stone lacks compassion and could be considered stone age in her clothing choices. Concentrate on not purchasing anything that benefits Ms. Stone. But please don't make other organizations suffer because of one person's bad taste and selfishness. I support PETA, and all the money I can spare is sent to them. Maybe if we don't view her cinema work, or purchase products she endorses, it would be more prudent. Ms. Stone certainly needs to be punished financially, but not Amfar.

Posted by: Gary W Miller | October 29, 2007 06:56 PM

she looks great the fur really sets off the dress

Posted by: Rob Duke | October 29, 2007 08:21 PM

its not supprising amfar and stone are together there both BRAIN DEAD, stone wont listen to peta.. anymore than amfar will listen to siav.org & mrmcmed.org or pcrm.org,

Posted by: indycar07 | October 29, 2007 10:04 PM

So Sharon Stone is MORE than well aware of the atrocities that are done to animals for their fur and is still unaffected. Well that clearly makes her another identifiable member of the sub-human species: unconscienable and heartless!

Posted by: Ariel | October 29, 2007 10:44 PM

not the OTHER beaver too. *wink*

Acd did you watch the video? Can you accept what they are doing to these precious animals? including dogs and cats. You are like Jenifer lopez, Beyonce, this woman and other monsters.

Posted by: liliana | October 30, 2007 08:15 AM

Even with the conspicious consumption mentality of celebs and the fashion industry, this one is over the top and disgusting. How ANYONE could be OK wearing such a symbol of cruelty and heartlessness is beyond me.

Posted by: Susannah S | October 30, 2007 09:30 AM

I love this post's title. Amazing.

Posted by: Eva | October 30, 2007 10:18 AM

I sent an email to someone at Amfar and will send more emails to this organization, shaming them for associating with such a callous person. How can you claim to fight against the suffering of one group while completely ignoring the suffering of another.
That's why I don't BELIEVE or TRUST Stone as an Amfar representative.

I suggest that everyone here and at Peta also write to AmFar. They rely on donations, so tell them that putting Stone's face on their cause is turning off a lot of AIDS-causes supporters from donating specifically to AmFar.

She must be punished for her callous actions!

Posted by: stacy | October 30, 2007 11:37 AM

WHY SHOULD ANYONE FROM AMFAR LISTEN TO ANYTHING PETA HAS TO SAY WHEN THEIR FEARLESS LEADER WAS QUOTED AS SAYING, " EVEN IF THEY CAME UP WITH A CURE FOR AIDS THROUGH ANIMAL RESEARCH, WE'D BE AGAINST IT."

Posted by: STEVE | October 30, 2007 12:37 PM

Indycar 07,

Another good anti-vivisection site is curedisease.com.

Posted by: Mike Quinoa | October 30, 2007 12:57 PM

Wow..she's so mean!! I can't believe that she'll wear a fur coat after PETA sent her all the info! It's very sad...and it looks like fur is everywere this season...how can this be possible...it's in every magazine, add, website, etc.

Something really sad that I wasn't expenting to see in the NYC area was that I was driving on route 80 and it was very cold and raining and right next to my car there was this truck full of chickens..some of them were dead or they looked dead and some of them were just there...all stuffed in a tiny cage...where they couldn't move or even stand up...it was so sad to see it and they looked so frighten...I just cant understand how mean people are...the truck was full maybe some 500 chickens or so...very sad!(sorry for my english ;)

Posted by: Samba75 | October 30, 2007 01:35 PM

Yeah stone is a selfish, nasty, callous bitch but please, stop talking about her age. Doesn't PETA have any members over 50 (I'm 51, dont' consider myself a hag, and am a long-time PETA member.) Let's stick with the facts that the cape is horrendous and complain to AMFAR that she's a lousy spokesperson.

Posted by: Ann Plasso | October 30, 2007 01:56 PM

OMG!!!
She should go 2 hell!!
I can't believe she thinks those furs look good on her!!
Anyone who wears furs should go to hell!! Its wrong to kill them for their furs!!! How would she like it if we pulled off her wrinkly old skin!!!

Posted by: Nichole | October 30, 2007 03:11 PM

Ann Plasso

Good point! Age is not a factor; a person devoid of compassion is always UGLY!

Posted by: Ana | October 30, 2007 03:53 PM

Posted by: Caboose | October 30, 2007 04:09 PM

Cruela DeVille

I would prefer to be one of those creatures awaiting my imminent fate behind bars, than a heartless Ignorant Bitch like her....for they can see the true beauty in life

Posted by: jeneleen | October 30, 2007 06:39 PM

Wow, such ageist, sexist comments. Why can't we just criticize what is wrong here (wearing fur) rather than flinging words that are insulting to older women, a good many of whom are fighting for animals' sakes?

Posted by: Dayna Dye | October 30, 2007 06:51 PM

WTF is W.R.O.N.G with these people?!?!

Fake fur looks just as luxurious as real fur...WEAR THE FAKE!

Save some little furry animal's from torture and save their lives'...

Posted by: Tamara | October 30, 2007 08:02 PM

This makes me so sad. I just can't understand how people can make choices that they know cause other creatures pain.

Posted by: Janet Fitzgerald | October 30, 2007 08:03 PM

I feel sorry for her. Only stupid people use fur. Can't they realize where those fur come from??? And all the suffering they cause???
Digusting!

Posted by: Andres Quintana | October 30, 2007 08:27 PM

I read that she's a Buddhist. Buddhists aren't supposed to harm living creatures. She's disgusting.

Posted by: Elena | October 30, 2007 08:38 PM

Am I the only person who thinks she looks rather elegant. Perhaps rather than spending your time and therefore your money calling Sharon Stone a stone cold whatever and other assorted awful puns, you could have been there doing something useful like throwing blood over her OR my personal favourite - shrivelling up in a rabbit hole somewhere and dying (hey at least you'd die with your beloved animals)

Posted by: Anonymous | October 30, 2007 08:40 PM

ugh what a selfcentered monster, why doesnt she just wear some bloody skin and bones same thing ugh! =0

Posted by: Brittany B. | October 30, 2007 09:27 PM

I don't think Sharon Stone should wear fur but I disagree that she is "total trash." Nobody is 100% worthless. Like everyone else, Stone has positive and negative qualities. She has worked to end AIDS and is a talented actress and entertainer.

Posted by: Angelle | October 30, 2007 10:14 PM

So if your objections to sharon stone encompass her looks, how come ingrid newkirk is still around. criticise her actions by all means, pretty lame to criticise her looks.

Posted by: rojo | October 31, 2007 03:35 AM

Psssstttt Steve you apparently are listening to peta for you are reading what they have to say, and then are making comments on it....so for you to say who would listen...seems as if you need to look in the mirror.....

Yuri...I hate when people try to defend current events with events that took place in the STONE age!!!! The world around you has changed a lot since mammals first appeared on earth, just in case you have not noticed...The major difference in wearing fur then, and wearing fur now is you just DON’T HAVE TO!!! Yes at one time our ancestors needed the fur of animals to stay warm there was no such thing as shopping mall where you could buy a winter jacket...heating blanket...heater...ect NOW in modern times there are many choices you have to stay warm, and we actually live in houses with heating systems!! There are many alternatives to fur..now there is not justifiable reason that someone should take the fur from an animal, and place on their backs for a simple fashion statement....big difference between needing to stay warm, and using fur because you think it makes you look rich & fashionable.

Why in this day in age does anyone feel the need to defend fur? We all know or most of us at least have watched the video on how fur is made....Apparently Sharon Stone needs the copy of “How fur is made for dummies” considering it just did not seem to sink in from the first one she watched. I guess there are a lot of things this day in time I will never understand wearing a collection of dead carcus’s on your back is one of them....eating the flesh of animals and waiting five days for the rotting meat to pass out of your system.....I will never understand why people find this enjoyable!!!

Posted by: Dana | October 31, 2007 09:02 AM

JUST BECAUSE A PERSON WEARS FUR DOESN'T MAKE THAT PERSON AN UGLY, OLD, SAGGY, COLD HEARTED BITCH! AND IF YOU CALL A PERSON THIS THEN IT IS WHAT YOU PROBABLY ARE YOURSELF

Posted by: Cody and Brady | October 31, 2007 03:45 PM

Fur is the most unsexy thing a woman can possibly wear. Any woman who wears a carcass to make herself look better and thinks she looks hot has serious issues. Either that,or she's just incredibly self absorbed. I find it very sexy when my woman wears canvas shoes, uses pleather bags and has her own defenition of looking good which does not involve torturing animals. This includes using makeup from companies that do not test on animals. I find a woman with a conscience to be attractive, not a washed up old has been covered in dead animals. BOOOO to Sharon Stone. I never thought she had any class to begin with.

no need to wear the skin of poor animals that suffer so much!! only to get attention!

Speaking as one who has a "laundry list" of permanent physical incurable disabilities, I would not accept any possible cure whereby any other living creature -animal or human animal- was tortured, killed, or harmed in any way to benefit me. Neither would I accept any cure that was derived from stem cell research.
This has been my belief for years, and it will continue to be my belief despite all the hurdles that I cannot overcome every single day of my life for years.

And for those of you who only think of SS's outward beauty, beauty is only skin deep, and it doesn't necessarily last during the aging process. A person's real beauty comes from within -from the self-less compassion and sympathy/empathy in his/her heart- no matter what their outward appearance is, or their age. And that special beauty can last not only through a lifetime, but also afterwards with the legacy they left behind.
I highly doubt that SS will be remembered for her beauty and for wearing fur, and really, not even so much for her talent. But I have NO doubt whatsoever that Ingrid Newkirk will be HIGHLY lovingly, and respectfully remembered -throughout the ages- as a person who took up a great challenge, a firm stand, and bravely made many, many, many tremendous efforts and strides for the sake of the animals to make this a better, kinder, more respectful world.
How many of you still idolize Rudolph Valentino or Clara Bow?
Contrarily, how many of you are still enjoying the dignities, which are the results of many famous non-celebrity men and women (too numerous to list) who bravely and unselfishly pioneered and made great strides against any injustices, cruelties, and discriminations?

Posted by: Ariel | November 1, 2007 11:23 AM

AMFAR is a huge vivisection organization! They love it when Sharon Stone wears her expensive status-symbol furs! She gives new meaning to the words ignorant and self-obsessed. FU Sharon.

FIRST OFF...HERNA.... REAL CLASSY DIATRIBE.... CURSING AND WISHING SOMEONE DEAD....
THE PERFECT PETAPHILE...
AND THEN OF COURSE WE HAVE ARIEL WHO IS NOT ONLY SO WISE AND ARRONGANT BUT SHE SHOWS HERSELF OFF AS SOMEONE WHO WOULD RATHER DIE THAN HARM THE HAIR ON 1 RESEARCH ANIMAL...AT LEAST, THIS IS WHAT SHE CLAIMS BUT IT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE HER REAL ANSWER WHEN SITTING ON THE OPERATING TABLE AND TELLING THE DOCTORS THAT I WOULD RATHER DIE THAN GET A LIFE-SAVING SURGERY.....
ARIEL, IF YOU ARE NOT FULL OF CRAP, YOU ARE OUT OF YOUR MIND....

Posted by: COMMON SENSE STEVE | November 3, 2007 12:39 PM

Then you can die Ariel for not accepting the cure. It isn't wrong to accept lab based cures (It's smart, but then there's side effects, but hey), but if you'd rather die, be my guest.

What legacy from you?

Legacy from Mr. Caboose, the blue armored SPARTAN who became the favorite in Red vs. Blue

Well... To be honest I think this is another one of those posts that distance vegetarians from non-vegs. If you spend all your time finger-pointing at - rather well known and acclaimed - actresses, I don't think you'll win many hearts around. It's all good and great that you all agree that Stone is a monster, but the rest of the world just thinks it's silly

So Ariel, you have never gone to a hospital or doctors office and do not have your vaccinations. You also have never used a pesticide or repellant since they are tested on those animals as well.Hope you never get bit by a snake and require antivenom.

By the way, if you have never been to a doctor since they all are a result of animal testing somewhere along the line, then how do you know you have "one who has a "laundry list" of permanent physical incurable disabilities, "? You own self diagonsis?

Ugh, Sharon Stone. This woman makes me throw up a little in my mouth. Did anyone see that nonsense with her auctioning off some earrings that someone should have had the good taste not to create in the first place? Sharon, just b/c your skin looks like it should be stretched over a drum and beaten with a stick, doesn't mean you have to steal the skin of others.

Posted by: Victoria | November 8, 2007 09:33 PM

she's jsut a witch with a callous uncaring cold rotting heart..

when she dies.. I hope may she confront all the animals that died and suffurered and who's skins she dragged along on that drape thing ..

I hope they all chew her head off..

Posted by: yuenfong | November 11, 2007 08:03 PM

who exactly is sharon stone?

Posted by: Amanda | November 29, 2007 10:58 PM

I like Sharon Stone. I found this page by searching for Sharon Stone's beaver. he he. No lie. Anyway, I'd prefer the company of Nazis or the KKK to anyone from PETA. She's still gorgeous, too, and I'd love to lick her snatch.

Posted by: Rembrandt | December 25, 2007 04:54 AM

What's with the defamation of witches here?

Just because you don't like the b-word doesn't mean you should defame my religious choice.

I support PETA philosopically in that I don't support fur trades and I wear as little leather as possible and I feed homeless feral cats.

Posted by: Eric | March 2, 2008 12:49 PM

You "vegans" should be ashamed!! You condemn fur yet you sit and TYPE about killing the environment but you never stop to think that whats keeping YOU WARM IN THE WINTER, THE FUEL THAT IS PROVIDING YOUR ELECTRICITY TO RUN YOUR COMPUTER is THOUSANDS of years old and takes THOUSANDS of years to replace. YOU, YES YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING IT FROM THE EARTH. If you cared so much then you would be wearing fur in the winter to stay warm instead of relying on IRREPLACEABLE fossil fuels to warm yourself. Fur lasts a lifetime. How much fossil fuel are you wasting when you decide to turn up the heat? I could go on and on but I won't waste my time on obtuse, imature, retarded people.

Posted by: Brandon | April 19, 2008 04:07 AM

It's not all vegans, Brandon. Just PETA. When will they learn....
