PETA Europe did a little trick or treating yesterday at a Burberry store in Manchester to encourage the chain to stop with the fur already. Great demo guys.

Posted by: Scarlet | October 31, 2007 05:32 PM

Goes to show how much I know about Burberry...I just knew them for plaid and being too damn expensive! The thought of them using fur never crossed my mind...I'm sure a lot of people have that belief!

Good job publicizing this!

Posted by: BullyDawg | October 31, 2007 05:34 PM

As Bart Simpson said on the first Halloween Special:

"Bitchin'!"

Great job, guys.

Peta is like the best organisation ever u definately tell it how it iz and show how cruel humans can be animals! it just makes me want to be to scream in disgust at the people who do this, its sick! but i can tell u, u definately get support!

Posted by: eilz pailz | November 1, 2007 03:16 PM

that's really good, i cant believe i didn't see it :(

Posted by: ali | November 1, 2007 03:22 PM

Nop, this doesn't work for me, you don't get your point across to people not to wear fur, this only infuriates and really makes a mockery of the the issue. Most of the big designers and brands use animals in some form in their clothing lines.I am not a fashion follower so i dont give a sh** about these designers or their followers, Next time employ Cindy Crawford or Naomi Campbell to do a photo shoot for peta and leave them high and dry outside such a store and see them crawl home!

Posted by: Jaquie | November 1, 2007 03:23 PM

you are the best person I have ever known!! you are a genius!! do it again, and never stop!! we are with u

Posted by: natalie | November 1, 2007 03:30 PM

I disagree with PETA UK's methods. they hi-jacked a childrens holiday to scare and intimidate shoppers and shop-owners, and that's terrorizism.

Posted by: alex | November 4, 2007 03:54 PM

I just saw the video of the foxes. I cried. WAKE UP BURBERRY! I can't afford their crap, nor do I want it. WEARING FUR IS DUMB!

Posted by: Arlene | November 4, 2007 07:34 PM

I love the guy who says that "I disagree with PETA UK's methods. they hi-jacked a childrens holiday to scare and intimidate shoppers and shop-owners, and that's terrorizism." First off, halloween started not as children's holiday. And now it's not a holdiay in honor of the dead or for children's sake. It's a corporate holiday further trenched in our minds by big companies whose only deires are bottom lines and unhealthy economies. Secondly, some people will call everything terrorism won't they. Yep. Your toast burns. It's terrorism. Grab two left socks. Terrorism. Factory farm animals for their skin. Terrorism. Oh wait. That last one really is a form of terrorism. My bad Tom.

Posted by: Brian Luznak I Have An MD In Well, Nothing | November 5, 2007 03:55 PM

Brian

youre only listing stupid reasons for terrorism (except the factory farming). Wake up, the real terrorists are today's U.S govt.

I wish I had been there I would have bring my costume

Posted by: pascale finkeldey | November 11, 2007 12:40 PM

"I can't afford their crap"

Probaly the most truthful and revealing statement on here yet.Simple class envy.

Posted by: Mars | November 21, 2007 09:38 AM

So degrading and wasting the fur that animals died for is OK.So much waste and fakery surrounds PETA's agendas.

Posted by: Mars | November 21, 2007 04:51 PM

i hate burberry! at a mall, they have 1 and i ALWAYS yell NO ONE SHOULD DIE 4 THIS STUPID BRAND! everyone looks at me but i dont really care, they aint got nothing on me!
