And just this morning, she sent a letter to clothing retailer Burberry's creative director Christopher Bailey urging him to end the use of fur in Burberry designs once and for all. Here's what she says:
"For the sake of basic decency and humanity as well as for the sake of your company's reputation, won't you please stop using real fur in your designs?"
You can the full letter here, and for a little horror movie about the practices that Burberry supports, click here.

Just I would like to thank Julie Christie for her restless support for animals! She can do so much more from other people because she is a well-known personality! And i think that Burberry has to respect her and listen to what she is saying! Thousand thanks for supporting us - Julie Christie!

Julie Christie was and is always on the right side of issues about animals. Her letter to Burberry was short, concise and to the point. I wish more people of my generation were as dedicated to animal advocacy as she is. She's a beautiful woman, a great actress and a person with a huge heart and conscience who puts her money where her mouth is. Yay, Julie!

You are supported by a multitude of voices. Perhaps, if we all let our thoughts be known, the violence will stop againest these creatures.

Julie: It was a thrill to see you in a cameo role in Harry Potter. You speak for a generation of beautiful, ethical, and amazing women.
