this story shows us again that it is really time to stop this insane thing! people critisizing the animal protectors should at least understand that this ugly 'passtime' is not just a criminal animal torture but it can also cost men's life! but we can tell it again and again and there are always these stupid folks from yesterday insisting in a continuation of bullrunning-bullfighting but nevertheless i think that also spain shall enter in a couple of years into the 21st century! in the meantime we must never sleep and always push to an end!

i was picking my dog up
at the vet

waiting for them
to bring her out

at the big white dog on my right

that had healed over
and i nodded at the owner

“what happened
to your pooch? she
get hit by a car
or something?”

“nah”, he said, “she’s
a rescued dog.”

“rescued?”

“yeah, we found her in
the road, thrown out,
with her ear gone
and her head half torn away.”

“what happened?”

“the cop said
they see it all the time.
they figure she was raised
by people who fight pit bulls

when she wouldn’t fight

Love your input, love your website, love how you express your disdain for animal abusers/killers. The animals need more like you.

It is very difficult for me to summon up any sympathy for a fool who likes to run with bulls that will be tortured and then killed all in the name of "entertainment". This is something that ancient Rome would have relished; Spain, please, come into the 21st century and ban bullfights. I wish this man had had more compassion for the bulls ;hence he would not have had any part of this barbaric practice.

Bull fighting and bull running should be banned. When you tease or taunt an animal, they are going to attack you. Moreover, it is a cruel sport.

Spain should be more civilized and ban this practice altogether.

I have researched Bull fighting for quite along time.
What amazed me is that 90% of the people that go to Bullfights are American and Canadians.
For many years the people of Mexico have tried to ban this horrific practice, to no avail.
They say that they have very little voice.
