I would comment on this, but I'm still pretty much speechless. It may be one of the greatest videos ever created. Check it out:

Nice. Any chance you can get Alyssa Milano to do one of these?

Posted by: Doug | September 19, 2007 03:42 PM

For this ad with beautiful body and soul Alicia Silverstone there is just one appropriate word: amazing! Please continue like this PETA!

What I love about this is that I look at the Alicia Silverstone ad, then scroll up to the top of the page and see Jack in pretty much the exact same position.

Posted by: Canaduck | September 19, 2007 04:53 PM

I'm a straight woman, but DAMN Alicia! Just...wow.

Posted by: BullyDawg | September 19, 2007 06:10 PM

I am glad that Alicia Silverstone bared all for PETA. Kisses to Alicia.

Alicia has always been my favorite. She is just absolutely beautiful. I probably would never have checked the Peta site if not for her. Kudos to Peta and Alicia!

Posted by: Ken | September 19, 2007 06:38 PM

Classy ad. Just like Alicia would be expected to do.

Posted by: Ann K. | September 19, 2007 08:05 PM

What could i say, it pays off to be a vegetarian.

Posted by: silvia | September 19, 2007 08:48 PM

u know wot if she looks that great and she is a vegetarian im so gona be one! man she is hot! Awesome body! Alicia is a babe and great selection for the add!

Posted by: Melissa De Silva | September 19, 2007 09:41 PM

So....not eating meat makes you have a hot body and go swimming and crawl around naked? Yeah, she looks hot, but not sure I understand the connection between naked, hot girl and not eating meat. To each his own!

Posted by: Mary | September 20, 2007 12:33 AM

It's a beautiful ad, but is there some reason she's naked? I understand the PETA thing on being naked - it attracts attention, which is of utmost importance, given the cause. But you don't see James Cromwell, Paul McCartney or Joaquin Phoenix showing up naked, just the women. Still, it is a good ad, especially for people who insist that you can't be healthy and be vegan.

Posted by: Susannah S | September 20, 2007 09:33 AM

wow! she has a great looking body. much power 2 her 4 baring all.

Posted by: Emily | September 20, 2007 02:37 PM

great ad...what a shame comcast isn't sharing this...good work alicia and goveg.

Posted by: collette | September 20, 2007 03:24 PM

If this is all of the fuss that Comcast has to fuss about then they are doing themselves a dis-service...omg, Victoria Secret is lots worse and not a secret anymore. I am a Mrs. & a grandmother & not offended at all.

I just watched Alicia's peta video on your site that was banned on tv.

It's fine, not at all risque. you only see very brief nudity and even then you don't really see all that much. I like it.

Posted by: Lisa | September 20, 2007 07:19 PM

a thing of beauty! come on no one could be even slightly put off by that ad.

Posted by: old geezer | September 20, 2007 07:24 PM

good job! kudos 2 alicia. i give her props

Posted by: hannah | September 20, 2007 07:37 PM

The pic is in good taste. Alicia is a very beautiful lady. I'd like to be a vegetarian like her.

Good job PETA and Alicia!

Posted by: rodrigo | September 21, 2007 10:06 AM

Wow!! Increible, el sexo vende pero en huston no se lo comieron, comen mucha carne y se les atora el cerebro, gracias a Dios por bellezas como Alicia, a comer pastura todos. Es bueno para tu salud.

Why combine sexism and veganism? Is the message that veganism/vegetarianism makes you sexy and successful? Disgusting way of marketing. Marketing in the same unethical way used by the big concerns that PETA is trying to work against.

We ernestly hope Michael Vick is never allowed to set foot on a football field again and his legal fees plus what the NFL takes back make him a homeless vagabond beggar for the rest of his life unable to afford even an ice cream cone. FOX NEWS telecast on Fri evening 21 Sep 07 depicted STILL ANOTHER one of these dogfighting lunatics also from Georgia name of Holiman or something like like that. Allegedly he was stealing pitiful cats and kittens in his neighborhood, injuring them, and feeding them to his pit bulls. May he rot in Hell (we have 7 cats and a dog all abandoned prior to acquisition, all spayed or neutered, and 1 orphan kitten just acquired, and just lost 1 cat to cancer despite optimum vet treatment). Feel free to use this any way it might help.

I am a supporter of PETA, I love animals and use animal- friendly products. I liked the original, less graphic ads more, though.
Now, it's almost like PETA is exploiting women. They may as well be doing a Playboy layout.

Posted by: Pam | September 22, 2007 03:29 PM

looks good enough to eat!

Posted by: Anonymous | September 27, 2007 01:22 AM

Amazing... just amazing. I have met so many Vegetarian people nowadays that currently started to diminish meat eating and I hope soon to improve on this. Lets be sustainable with out natural resources!

Posted by: William Cornejo | September 28, 2007 01:01 AM

thanks alicia.. you made a wonderful video!!!! keep it up!!!

Posted by: denise Stephens | September 28, 2007 03:57 PM

I am so proud of Alicia and all that she is doing for PETA.
What a great role model.
Everyone should stand up for what they believe in.

Posted by: April | September 28, 2007 11:19 PM

I wonder how the feminist groups would feel about PETA using a naked celebrity to draw attention to their cause.

Posted by: Jason Bourne | October 3, 2007 06:21 PM

I think it's a great advertisement. I consider it tasteful and it makes sense; she's saying look you can be beautiful outside as well as inside by being a vegetarian. She is proud of herself and wants to send out the message; nothing wrong I can see at all. I am a vegetarian, too; my husband seems to think I look pretty good, too! It isn't very hard to be a vegetarian because there are so many good tasting options out there. With all the scandals over e-coli in the hamburger recently, coupled with all the atrocious conditions for animals, it just seems like a no-brainer to me.

Posted by: gretchen | October 19, 2007 04:37 PM

you are an idiot.
I would like to know what you have to say about PETA after reading this:
I have seen a number of cruel images of animals spread nationwide. Apparently, there is a company that is using disgusting images in their advertising to excite emotion and cause people to be interested in their product.
The name of the company is PETA, and the animal, of course is women. You would obviously agree that women are animals, judging by your ad campaigns alone. Let's not forget your sexy-brainless twit Pamela Anderson that you have postered up on your front page. Or the "sexy Alicia Silverstone" PETA video. I'm sure there's more, but I'm too disgusted to really investigate.

What are you really selling here? Maybe the reason you spend so much time protecting animals is that you yourself are sleezy animal bastards.
Well I hope someone skins your fur and subjects you to the same atrocities you protest so much against.
You think hypocrisy is going to sell your agenda? Well I'm not buying. I used to think you people were somewhat intelligent, but that was hideously erroneous of me.
I can see quite clearly now that you're only a group of horny-idiots. You make Denny's and Kentucky Fried Chicken sound quite appetizing, and now I would have absolutely no qualms about eating there. I never see women depicted as sex objects in THEIR commercials.
Bon apetit.

If you aren't such a spineless pretentious organization, I would love to hear how you justify this behavior, or more importantly what you're doing to change it.

But chances are, you're too busy chasing chickens and crooning over cats.

God creats these creatures to eat them and to get benefits from them in moderate way and without making them suffering we kille them in a proper Islamic way .

Nice, a lovely lady, but not exactly amazing. Has no-one ever visited a nude beach? Nudity is no big deal these days, or shouldn't be.

Posted by: Rob | November 23, 2007 03:05 PM

That's mine.

Posted by: Bradley Smith | February 19, 2008 01:03 PM

I really really love alicia ever since and I will support her on her fight against the cruelty on animals. I love you alicia, and keep it up. No to Violence against animals!!!!!!!!

Posted by: RON SASPA | May 10, 2008 05:53 AM

I think PETA exhibits the height of ignorance but... I enjoy your ads!:)

I'll never agree with you-the world and the animals in it exist for humanity and not the other way around-but I hope to see more of your ads in the future. Keep 'em coming!
