New Website!

We've been working on a new-and-improved PETA.org for quite awhile. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you might want to have a look. It's beautiful. Like, Grand Canyon beautiful. The Great Redwood Forest. Frickin’ Niagara Falls. Seriously, have a look. Don't be a stranger!

The other website was much better, it seems for me getting around it seems abit more confusing now! I just loved the previous website peta.org - is it going to stay like this?

Very nice!

I like it!! It has more information right there on the home page to look at and read. Plus there are pictures to keep it interesting. I like to know what's going on, and this website gives me a lot of stuff to read.

Thanks!

Well, I think the old website was prettier, but this one definitely has a lot more info on the page.

Now that I've gotten used to it, I kind of like the new site. But I still miss the old one, it was all blue...

I was actually going to email you about the old site. Visually it was very tangled and gave me a headache.

This is SO much more clean and beautiful. I really really love it. Great great work.

I hope y'all stay with the theme of inspiring and heartwarming animal photos. I find it lures me in better than disturbing photos.

I would like also some more positive stories such as VICTORIES for animals. With all of the cruelty, violence and brutality animals endure, it is heart-lifting to see some positive results from efforts made by animal advocates.

Wow. Streamlined design. I like that.

Love the new site!

If this new "beautiful" w/s is more influential to encourage more people to become involved in animal rights' activism, great! It does present a more comprehensive amount of info to choose from that is at our fingertips.
However, if it these types of pictures give the impression of sugar-coating, which would detract from the the cold, hard visual facts of animal torture - then perhaps the w/s would lose its impact...so there's that chance that less people would be inclined to become involved or take action as quickly.
It has always been extremely difficult for me to see the cruelty pictures, but this is not about me or wanting to see cutesy animal pictures...it's about the realities of animal torture.
All I can say is let's see if it's more effective or not.

I am fine with the change, but I was wondering if you could tell me where I might find a link to buy one of those anti-Vick ball caps?

It was featured prominently up front on the old site, but not more.

I really wanted to sport that around the office when I had a chance. Please, feel free to email me with info majordawg94@yahoo.com

I like it because of all the info, and I was able to go directly to the Covance campaign which I have been trying for some time to find.

I'm a 28 year old guy who always support whats right , now im not saying that Vick shouldnt be punish for a crime "if he did" comment. I also beleave god is the only one who can judge you for your actions and we all know that there's only on god and i beleave god for give and forget. So for this organization Peta you people need to stop playing God and let the lord do what he do best is to decide the fate of Micheal Vick , just remember everything has a ripple effect , so while your trying to ruin these man life god is deciding on your life so think about what you are doing .

Posted by: Mario Johnson | August 6, 2007 12:27 PM

MARIO JOHNSON, WE are ruining Vick's life??? Please get a grip on reality! From my understanding, it was the feds who exposed him and indicted him with 18-pages of PROOF. It was profoundly reported in the news media. And who, if not Vick, owns his house/property of which, btw, any property owner is leagally responsible for anything that occurs on his/her property.
And did you forget that Vick's best friend and co-hort is making a plea bargain against Vick? Did you forget that Vick's sponsors CHOSE to drop him because they don't want their merchandise to be associated with him? Did you forget that the NFL suspended him?
About God and judgement: did you know that 98% of the laws are based on the 10 Commandments? So since the feds are carrying out the law, I would say that they are carrying out earthly justice that was established by God for the purpose of us maintaining a civilized society, as well as our souls. And I also would say that ONLY Vick can be responsible for his own actions, whether they be towards sucess or ruining his own life. So don't try to place the blame on PETA or the feds or anybody else but Vick himself.
All of us who are believers, basically judge ourselves before God...because WE are the ones who have free will, and have to answer for our choices. IF we do not repent while on this earth, then WE ourselves have actually chosen either Heaven or hell.
