Jeff Corriveau, who has written for Saturday Night Live and Jay Leno and served as head writer on the Emmy Award-winning Talk Soup, has now turned his full efforts to print media, and the hilarious result is the nationally syndicated comic strip DeFlocked, starring Mamet the sheep and his supremely odd friends Cobb, Tucker, and Rupert. Where we come into the equation is that Jeff, a strong supporter of animal rights, has partnered with PETA in our worldwide campaign to end abuses of sheep in Australia.
I'll be putting a new DeFlocked strip on the blog every week, and we'll also be featuring the exclusive strips Jeff makes for our Australian wool campaign biweekly on SaveTheSheep.com. You can learn more about Jeff's work on his website, but in the meantime, let me introduce you to Mamet the sheep. You may never be the same.

I am horrified whenever I see most blogs bashing PETA, justifying their point of views by saying "but what about plants...those poor defenseless cotton boles getting ripped from their stems" WHAT?! Also stating that "Well, in recent studies it is known that plants have feelings" WHAT, WHAT, WHAAAAT? So it is okay then to use wool? This justifies it...how? I am still amazed that some people tell me how I am treating cotton and go right back to using abused animals for their everyday life....justifying their sad existence I guess...
at any rate great cartoon cannot wait to see the next on e:O)

"I got the Oliver Platt hiney." Classic! Congrats Jeff, on a cute and funny way to reach the masses about animal abuse.
Any chance of you getting a spot in the Jackson, MS Clarion-Ledger?
