I particularly like the idiot Terry who likes to make public threats about shooting other people, that’s especially bright I must say.

Third, if you spent as much time getting educated about this subject, as you do making ignorant comments you would know that sportsmen and women do moor for the habitat, environment and animals of the world then the entire PETA organization. Fourth go back to school, your self is spelled in 2 words not one.

I really shouldn’t even entertain you comment it is so dumb. Just in case you really don’t know I will explain it. The “ensemble” as you put it is water proof and warm and if you can see past your nose you could tell it was cold and rainy that day. As far as the tree comment, fish do relate to sunken trees, rocks and brush. It is called cover or shelter which is one of the 3 basic needs, along with food and water, which you should have been taught, in 7th grade biology.

Don’t get me wrong, I love PETA too. It is a great organization that teaches our children that it is ok to break the laws of our country, like indecent exposure, harassment, personnel property destruction, and unlawful demonstration. It is also outstanding in the capacity to fight for a cause and prove the oppositions point. Not to mention the only real ammunition they have is to make dick jokes. I say keep up the good work.

There's just something about this thread i don't understand. You know, I realize that this Ed guy came onto your message board and sent you pictures of the game that he caught. The guy is an insensitive prick who just wanted to rile you people up. I just thought I'd comment on this so some of the posters would realize that just because some people don't believe in the same things you do doesn't mean they are a stupid redneck or an uneducated slob that doesn't care about their community. here are some rational points:

1) animals feel pain, you should not cause others to feel pain for your enjoyment

2) there is an eco-system in balance that is damaged when you hunt or fish

3) hunting rips apart families (animal families)

4) people are often hurt, maimed, or killed during hunting - innocent people who may be walking by and using the woods in a positive manner

5) you are teaching that it is okay to harm those who are helpless for entertainment

6) millions of animals are hurt but not quickly killed and suffer for long periods of time

and reasons reasons reasons. but people resort to name calling because we KNOW those reasons, and so does Ed. he just doesn't care. he causes an animal to suffer and die and it doesn't bother him. what else can you say to that?

Wow.....just wow... I will have you know that hunters are responsible for 1) the vast majority of animal habitats and conservation efforts. You think those state parks are paid for by taxes? Guess again, the majority of them are maintained by hunting license revenue.
2) Without hunters, MILLIONS of animals would starve and/or get struck by cars. I can guarantee you that being killed by a hunter is much more humane than the alternative.
3) The majority of hunters do, in fact, love animals. A TRUE hunter appreciates spending time in the wild. A hunter does not hunt to kill. A hunter kills to hunt.
4) Just one single organization has donated 1700 tons of venison in the past 10 years. That has provided for 13.6 MILLION meals for starving PEOPLE in America.
What has PETA done?
