The dreaded Olsen Twins have been spotted again, hiding their evil, flinty little eyes behind dark glasses and draping their malformed bodies in the skins of tortured animals. No need to hide your children and bar the windows just yet, though, as our dashing hero, PETA VP Dan Mathews, has come to the rescue with a trademark snarky comment:

"Maybe their granny left them those ratty furs. They should have buried the coats with her."

If you do happen to come across Ashley or Mary Kate in a dark alley somewhere, it's important not to panic. But do be sure to call animal control immediately if it looks like any of those minks are still alive. And if you happen to run into Dan Mathews, try not to be sassy with him. It never goes well.

the answer is very simple: there are people in this world who never learn the lesson!

They might be rich, but you can't buy class. OLSEN TWINS...ditch the fur!!!

I love Mary-Kate & Ashley, but i agree.. if they want to keep warm they could try wearing pants

Two ugly little girls with very ugly habits--I'd feel sorry for htem if I saw them ont the streets here in Pittsburgh, unless they were wearing fur. Then I'd try to make their lives even more miserable than they probably are.

well leave thoose fashonistas out of it yo!

I like MK and Ashley! Anyway do you even think that they care what some pesky PETA people care? I know i wouldnt!

Posted by: Renee | March 2, 2007 06:05 AM

These two girls seem to be so uneducated! They might think that fur grows on trees.... Take your glasses off, girls, watch the PETA videos about the fur industry and get rid of these dead animals! Do something good with all these millions that you've got. You do not even deserve having it....

stop buying fur and buy some new stockings

I'm totally opposed to wearing fur, but I find myself more than a little upset after reading that. While I appreciate their agenda I feel like Dan's and others comments are a bit childish and unnecessarily rude. I realize they're trying to deter celebrities and others from wearing fur, but I have a feeling it does more harm than good. I think it's especially damaging to the repuation of vegetarians, vegans, and people who care about animal rights. I think it's always in everyones best interest to try and solve differences in a respectful and positive way. I know tons of ppl will think that sounds really lame but oh well. I feel just as strongly about treating people with respect as I do animals. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar and all that kind of stuff. Just a thought.

They are beyond rich and clueless.

When EVERYTHING in life is that easy for you what do you care that people are mad at you for wearing fur or leather or eating meat?

Maybe money will buy them a new conscience?

Hey Olsen's howz about sending some of dat mula on over to Ct? Our city's animal shelter is in dire need of it.

The animal shelter in my city is beyond run down. It is so bad that there are petitions all over the internet begging city officials to make some changes and quick.More animals are being "humanely" euthanized per month than were euthanized the entire year a few years ago!

How sad there are so many heartless people in the world. Until they stop wearing fur I won't watch any show or movie they are in and that won't be difficult because 99% of my t.v. time is on Animal Planet anyway.

olsen twins maybe take some time and watch a PETA video to see where these furs you wear come from beginning to end, the torture, skinning alive, electricution all so you think you look nice, well you look disgusting ditch the fur and consider what you wear and what gets killed in the process. i think youd have a change of heart. sunshine stevens point, wi

If only those two fucktards could put themselves into those animals' shoes. They don't seem to understand; we are animals like them...

Those girls are no rolemodels. And to think they influence our nation's youth?

Posted by: Leah | March 3, 2007 01:22 AM

I hate the olsen twins, they should get rid of the fur!!

Posted by: Emma | March 3, 2007 02:50 AM

The Olsen twins are not the only ones, who needs to learn about the animal cruelty in the fur industry. The rappers/singers like:Snoop Dogg, P.Diddy, Akon and Lil'Kim should also be told to stop wearing jackets with fur trim and fur coats. Has any journalist ever asked them, if they know, that they are supporting animal abuse and cruelty, as long as they wear anything with fur?!!

Posted by: Marianne Christensen | March 3, 2007 06:43 AM

People who wear fur off the pain and terror of innocent animals are wearing shame and ignorance. They are a walking example of evil, depravity and moral deprivation. Lord have mercy.

Everyone needs a chance to be educated. These girls are so sheltered, they likely DON'T KNOW where fur comes from or how it is obtained. Let get the word out to them!

Posted by: Niki | March 3, 2007 10:33 AM

Shame............
Have they no Heart??????
I guess not. Animals suffering for they fur!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beauty comes from the inside.
You do not need a fur coat for that.
Remember: whatever we do will be returned three times.
The good and the bad.

Hopefully no one would look to these girls for fashion advice...I mean, one of them looks like a homeless crack addict and the other one is constantly sporting this idiotic pout. I'd rather be dressed by Lil' Kim than the Olsen Twins.

Total proof that money doesn't buy class.

Posted by: Tom | March 4, 2007 09:26 AM

gag me with a spoon. fur really is for beautiful animals and ugly people.

Posted by: sarah | March 4, 2007 05:19 PM

I am an active supporter of PETA here in the Philippines. I must say tho I think PETA is WRONG to attack them on the anorexia issue (comment of malformed bodies) as this is a disease which like animal rights deserves compassion.

How sad and shocking that once people grow up they can become so hard-hearted and selfish. Life of another creature is never their priority and concern. Damn all the fur-wearing morons.
