I was saddened to hear of Anna Nicole's passing. WIthout celebrities like Anna and Pamela Anderson to help the cause of protecting animals, we would have a much more difficult job getting out the message. Anna Nicole cared deeply about animals, and donated her time to a worthy cause. She will be missesd by all of us at PETA . I hope her family and friends have solace in the good work she did for animals rights.

But it sucks how the media is just all "she was on drugs bla bla bla she was a bad person bla bla" and nobody friggin mentions what a GOOD person she was and all that she did to help animals. You know I was always interested in Anna Nicole, for some reason I just thought she put up with a lot of heart ache in her life. When I heard this morning she died I did shed a tear, I would not have done that for anyone else. When I read this web-site I was did not know she did a lot of work for PETA. I know have shed a lot of tears. Regardless of any negative things people has said about this beautiful person she should be respected for the brilliant work she has done. I just had a feeling that she had a very good heart and now I know for sure that she does.

I miss her too, she was funny on television, she always seemed happy and content, but watching the news with her son's death and all the poking fun of her, she's a human being! i miss her also and I hope she's resting in peace with her son, in heaven

So sad, I heard lots of negative things about her. Only after she died I read that she was vegetarian and spoke up for animal rights.
It's sad when someone dies needlessly before they reach old age, especially when they speak up for good causes. I hope that her daughter will be well looked after.

Anna Nicole was a vivid, passionate woman and it's so wonderful that her heart was as big as was her fame.
I have noticed that she never looked as alive or as lovely as she did in the animal protective ads she did for Peta. That is a legacy to be proud of.

Anna was and is a beautiful, wonderful person who has had so many terrible things happen to her for so long. She did a lot of wonderful things for PETA. I was just facsinated by her and her strength with dealing with Hollywood. I cannot imagine what her life was like. I am upset by her untimely death and hope she can find peace now.

Of course everybody has there opinion... and yes she had alot of problems in her life that she just couldn't seem to figure out or work and cope with. Needless to say, even though things didn't alays go good for her, she did what she could to help out others, including PETA! she had a deep passion for animals and was very compassionate for them. Maybe she was a little mixed up, but some of us go through hard times and don't know what to do. It was her time to go, but i pray she rests in peace. she did a WHOLE lot for animals even when under stress, and still took the time to participate in helping and doing all she could. RIP Anna.

Anna Nicole, you were proof that vegetarians are the sexiest people around. I am proud to be a part of PETA, totally Vegan and proud to be the minority in my life style choices which include creative cooking, staying fit at the gym, while still being stylish and fashionable, fur/leather free! Anna is being trashed in the media, such a shame that more sites like this are not showing her very lovable,and positive actions, which if it saved one animal from abuse or death, it made her entire life much more valuable than than she is getting credit for. I remeber Anna Nicole Smith from Naked Gun 33 1/3. I loved her in that movie. Unfortunately, after that the only way to keep up with her was the tabloids. Then after Her show came out, and no matter what I could not quit watching her show. She was a wonderful person, I could tell from how much she loved her son. I think she died of a broken heart. I had a family memeber who died of a broken heart, and it does really happen. Her son was her life. How many Hollywood stars would have their children with them 24 hours a day seven days a week. Not many, they use their kids for money. Anna wanted her son with her for love. She will be greatly missed. RIP My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your kids. I love you anna!

I was in tears as well
the day I saw her crying on TV as she was saying, "Why didn't God take me instead of Daniel; he's only 20 years old." I felt her painful loss, and I said to my daughter, "Oh, she is going to die soon. Her heart is so broken; she will not live much longer. Just mark my word! I just hope that she will have the strength and will to live for the sake of her baby because that baby needs her.

Anyway, I wish that the media will post on TV side-by-side pictures of Danielynn and the potential fathers so that the public can see the similarities. So far, I think the baby resembles Howard Stern.

And my final thoughts about Anna Nicole are that she was
a loving parent, created a respectful and an"A" Student with her son Daniel, she fulfilled her childhood fantasy, and lastly, she was charismatic and beautiful and this is just the way I will always remember her.

I loved Anna for what she did for animals. She was a genuinely caring person. It makes sense to me that many in hollywood showed no respect. They are not made of the same fabric as Anna was, and many people were jealous of her looks and her possible wealth. Such a shame when she did more for society then so many who scorned her. No one has scorned the fact that a much older man married her, only the other way around. She deserves her inheritance as any wife would. She supported her son always. She loved him. I would like to see more of the scorners love their children in the same way as she did.

I myself believe that anna died of a BROKEN HEART,with everything that she was going through in life,the court issues with her money,being in the public eye, constantly dealing with people and ultimately the death of her son Daniel. I'm a mother of 2 beautiful boys, one 5yrs.and one 4 months, I couldn't imagine ever losing either one of them,I myself knowing that life is tough would probably want to give up too. Anna was a free spirited,beautiful and spoke her mind kind of person, definately a one of a kind. As they say, Only the good die young. i have watched the media coverage about Anna Nicole's death. I am very saddened that the media and the people who have started coming out of what seems to be the woodwork dont talk about the wonderful things Anna did. She had a true and deep love for animals. She donated her own time to help this cause and in my book at least anyone who has such a deep love and concern for helpless little creatures has to be an awesome person with a good and sweet heart. It's difficult to compare Anna with Marilyn Monroe, but The Monroe was an animal rights person before there was even a name for it. She used to go for walks around Manhattan and buy baby pigeons from people who had stolen them from their nests to sell to restaurants. She did this quietly. There is a story written about her by Arthur Miller entitled "Please Don't Kill Anything".

Anyway, Anna, rest now. We loved your beauty, intensity and gentleness. We've lost a great lady.

I think that Anna Nicole was one of the most beautiful women ever, she never gave up, and she always held her head high, we didn't live her life or fight her demons, and I am proud that she represented PETA. She will be greatly missed, and maybe her beauty and spirit will live on in her baby girl

I wish someone on CNN or any media outlet would do a segment on all the wonderful things Anna did for PETA & other organizations. She was such a beautiful person, inside & out & no one wants to talk about that aspect of her short life. She will be remembered forever by her PETA friends!

I always liked Anna Nicole and now I feel even more sad after finding out that she was a PETA supporter and a vegetarian. I can't believe I did not know this before! I don't think many people knew. I am glad that she will be placed next to her son who she clearly loved.

It's unfair that it takes dying for somebody's fundamental beauty to shine through. In life, Anna Nicole was commonly viewed as embarassing, dimwitted, and deeply troubled. "legitimate" people always act as though they are indulging in a guilty pleasure when merely mentioning her name. Even the story above is loaded with mixed feelings. But, in death, it really comes through what an angel she was. No matter what hyped-up, artificial, greedy Hollywood machine she was caught up in in life, there was still an obvious presence of a small town, good natured, love longing, Texas girl there. I have no doubt her commitment to PETA was genuine and, as consolation, she is now freed from the slimier, more vapid side of life she was often depicted as representing. Love you Anna.

My family feels so sorry for Anna Nicole Smith's baby & long-time partner,
Howard K. Stern - that poor woman can't even die in peace & with just a tiny bit of dignity...we miss her & hope that she's happy with Daniel now. We also hope that all this legal mumbo-jumbo can be straightened out quickly & that Howard or who ever is that beautiful baby's father can take care of her privately & in peace without all the media circus surrounding that baby. It is sad that ANS died, when my grandma told me that she had passed away i was shocked. it didnt seem fair, cuz she was so young and her baby has to grow up with out her mother. Its like all these people started coming out saying they are the father all of a sudden. Do these people just want the money that the baby might get?
and whats with her mom? it was so obvious that she wasnt close to her and now all of a sudden her mom is all heartbroken and is trying to act like she cares. I dont think anyone is really looking out for the babys best interest. shes probably missing her mom like crazy and doesnt understand why shes gone poor kid. so people just need to get on with it and bury her beside her son already and to make everyone cork it do the dna tests and be done with it.
I hope she is in peace now and with her beloved son. and let her rest in piece. seems like she cant ever get that alive or death.

I just read about Anna Nicole and all her contributions to PETA. Anna had the ability to inspire anyone unconditionally. When I see Anna with her her son her smile beamed like a ray of sun and her eyes glowed with happiness. May she rest in peace along side her son and hope that whoever gets custody of her beautiful daughter will speak fondly of Anna and how lucky that little girl was to have had such a beautiful mom. Regards to all the organizations that Anna was involved in as they will all miss her. And to her family accept Anna for who she was and not for what you want. Now that Mr. Birkhead has his daughter, does anyone else besides me think about the fact that he was suing her for custody even before she gave birth -- adding to her already stressful life and broken heart, along with the Marshall estate mess and the person that was suing her for the TrimSpa she represented, both Larry and her mom, who admitted she beat Anna in an interview with Dr. Keith Ablow, are just as much to blame for this beauty's death as the pills and meds she took. Losing Daniel was just the nudge she needed to go so deep into depression she would have never recovered without help from someone who didn't want anything from her except to see her better. It probably seemed to her that the whole world was picking on her, and she had no one with Daniel gone. To both Virgie and Larry -- hope you can live with what you've both done to this lovely yet troubled woman. We Love You, Anna Nicole -- RIP.

I am happy to learn that the police have search warrants for the doctors. I want to also say something in regards to Larry Birkhead I know that he was desperately trying to save his daughter and to be a part of her life. I think that ultimately the weight of her sons death was to much to have to face. Because I have a feeling she may have either given it to him knowingly and blamed herself for his death. I can't say what exactly did occur. I do know that a lot of greedy people helped her self destruct. She was a beautiful woman and sadly she will not be here to love her daughter and see her grown. I feel that given all the facts of the extensive drug abuse that Larry Birkhead was the only one who truly loved Anna and was trying to save her and their daughter. I think that we all agree that it is time for Anna to rest in peace with her beloved Danny. And I sincerely hope that anyone who has as much to bear publicly as she did can find the strength to go on in life and not come to a tragic end. Rest on Baby girl.
